Next week will be interesting. Sara's q/s might be nice, but 9–5 theming is probably going to be annoying. AJ might be great at the Charleston, or her Bambi legs might re-appear. I hope Jojo gets his choreographical mojo back, I haven't really got properly into their last few dances and rumba is a tricky one!

Voted 3x Tilly as I thought she was under-marked, particularly by Shirley.

I’m so tired of the gapping between Aljaz and his partner’s not being picked up.

Hoping for a Adam/Dan dance off. Big Adam fan in non-Strictly life but he looks a little fed-up at this point - I wish he’d had a different partner.

Johannes is amazing, but the downside to that is that he makes John look so mediocre.

Agree with those that have said Rhys seems to unfairly get a hard time from the judges.

I think Tilly looked amazing and I enjoyed her dance.

AJ was amazing.

I found Alijaz and Sara very underwhelming.

Dan is just Dan.

Aljaz always has huge gapping with every partner and the judges never pick it up. No idea why because he's otherwise a lovely ballroom dancer and a proper ten dance expert.

I loved J&J today. I do wonder whether they have been playing it 'safe' before because they knew the tabloid rumours that would start. Maybe having John dance with someone like Gio would have meant they could push the boundaries without people thinking they're cheating? Or maybe I'm biased cos I've always loved Gio and think he could have done wonders with John.

Too late for predictions now. I voted Rose - out of habit and because I love this pairing and everything they do soooo much - AJ because as someone else said, I couldn’t not vote for that, and Tom. Not generally a fan of him or the paso, but I found that dance spellbinding and fascinating to watch, a refreshing change from the type of paso we often get on Strictly... waits for someone to come on and tell me I must have been watching different dance

Also wondered why Sara in the pimp slot Should have been AJ.

Thought same about Kai’s dad. Kai’s definitely one of those lucky people who look older for years and years, then end up having the last laugh because they age really well.

I agree with everything you've said @Bluffinwithmymuffin , especially about Tom. Everything about his dance was fabulous- the costumes were amazing & Amy's dress was perfect.

I reckon Adam & Rhys in the dance off as I enjoyed theirs the least.

Dan has managed to avoid the dance off despite being in the bottom 3 on the leaderboard. It is mathematically.possible for him to avoid the DO if there are ties on the leaderboard even right up to the semi final.

He is popular.

Did anyone notice that the lighting was better yesterday? We could actually SEE the dancers and how well they were danced. (not sure about Tilly's chessboard dance though) but mostly the techniques are getting better all the time. I'm really enjying this year's strictly!

Tom's was good because he danced a proper paso!

Nice to see a pretty covered up Tess! Not sure about Claud's drag though she pulled it off ok!

Just caught up now. Like Shirley, I felt emotional after the rumba. The dance was tender and beautiful. The only other dance ever to have moved me to tears was Caroline Flack's showdance.
I also want to hear Craig's explanation for the 9. Until now, my favourite ever Charleston was DVO's but AJ's eclipsed that. I was also surprised at the 8s for Rose. I thought she did brilliantly and didn't understand the high scores for Rhys- he has energy but no finesse. And to me, Sara still looks as though Aljaz is dragging her around the floor.

Didn't like Sara's dance at all and didn't understand the praise and high scores she got, he was dragging her round like one of those puppets you see attached to the dancers legs, she even looked like one with that awful hairdo!!

I agree @lollipoprainbow, her hair was awful and nothing like Dolly's so not sure what they were doing there unless it was an ode to Dolly gone terrible wrong!

I hope Dan isn't in the dance off - he really entertains me and I thought he was good last night.

I think Dan and Adam , Dan is the lesser dancer of the two but gets votes because of his t.v. followers . But tonight night be one of those shock dance offs.
