That hug and little tear in his eye that Sam actor is a star and I know people haven’t got much time for Jane Danson but it think she’s a great actress when given the right scrips

I'm really hoping Sam and Leanne will be good for each other. Simon was trying his best too.

Agree @Crazycakelady17 that Jane Danson is brilliant with the right script and toned down from the usual screeching and shouting. That scene with Sam was beautifully sad.

Are Nick and Leanne living in a different flat now? The layout seems odd, Sam's room being accessed through their bedroom, and when Nick and Leanne came home it looked almost like it was open plan.

I think Nick and Leanne are temporarily in a hotel as Sam understandably didn't want to live in the flat his mum was killed in. Looks like the same hotel suite David, Shona and the kids were staying in following the sinkhole debacle.

They're staying in "one of my hotels" Debbie. It has weird wall hangings, I thought they were damaged until camera ones out!
