Don't normally watch ITT... I did tonight.. Diane interviewing a judge from the Finland version.. In their shop they do a swap up... Where the contestants swap partners for a week. Would be great for our show to do that!

DD said there were some cross comments online about her being allowed to dance the cancelled dance this Saturday, saying it gave her an unfair advantage. So looks as though she'll be there!
I think she's been quite unwell with Covid so I'm not sure how much of an advantage it will give her and tbh she probably needs any advantages she can get at this point as I don't think she'll make it past this weekend.

I think they do this in DWTS too? I agree and i would rather have that week over movie or musicals.

Out of the 14 days between shows she will have been in isolation for 10 days she won't have have time to learn a new dance as she must have been in isolation until today at the very earliest. People don't seem to understand how isolation works. Even if she is totally asymptomatic she can't see anyone so no training at all.

Yes but they had 3 or 4 days after to actually train together. Given Judi was in ITT on the Tuesday it's possible that Saturday is her first day out of isolation giving no time at all to practice a new dance.
Tom wouldn't have learned his week 2 dance at all as he test positive on the Sunday so it made no difference if he learnt week 2 or week 3, taking a 10 day chunk out of training means no one out for covid is going to learn two dances. They will miss too much time with their partner. Judi probably had 3 or 4 days to learn the Let's get physical routine followed by 10 days isolation a few run through this Friday/Saturday. It's not like she's had two weeks of solid training that would potentially give her an advantage.

Does the CC no longer have to be a specified type of dance? Noone has said what Sara's is and Vicky Gill said it looked quite like a paso to her.

I suspect Judi will pull out as everything I have read suggests she is still very unwell. I don't know how that would pan out for the final though. Have two people ever pulled out in one show before?

I've just watched the segment on BBC breakfast.

I love that sign language is getting so much air time but I wish people didn't dismiss it- Naga saying it's so easy and accessible shows such a lack of understanding- it's got a huge grammar which is really not easy to understand- the failure rate is huge!!

They should have planned for a 5 person final, then had a double elimination st some point if noone had to drop out.

ITT was great yesterday. Katya is like a Yorkshire terrier excitedly yapping around the heels of Adam's Great Dane. he seems to want to succeed despite her.

But I liked the way both she and especially Nadiya were so supportive of their contestants, DanDan the lobster man! Halloween Confused (erm did I notice quite a closeness between them, ooops...)

Surely they will just skip an elimination and no one goes home this week if she drops out ?

I reckon if they skip an elimination it might be for CiN/Blackpool week, making that more of a celebration and adding scores to the week after.
