@holidaynearlyover I've been fighting those battles for years with family and friends, also about background noise, they KNOW if everyone's talking at once he can't pick out the words they want him to hear, I have told them this and yet they still talk over the top of each other!
Even my sons dad has trouble wrapping his head around processing times though. Yes he heard you. It takes him a bit longer to respond than a hearing child would. Give the kid some allowances yes his hearing levels are good but he's still profoundly deaf, bloody hell.
