So, was it always planned that Meena would kill Ben or has it been written in since the whole Victoria/David absence/suspension?

I'd have killed Ben myself for being so utterly dim had Meena not got in there first 🙄

I haven't been keeping up to date with the news but can someone explain what's going on with David and Victoria actors?

Of course Meena just had to be there when Billay took the phone call about the camera footage.
Of course stupid Ben had to have an attack of conscience that he'd left a murderer for dead.
Of course when he went back in there, she's disappeared.
Of course the camera had disappeared from the car.

At least that's the end of the least convincing relationship ever.

And the Meena murdering bandwagon rolls on relentlessly....

I don't get what Ben was trying to achieve anyway. I may be remembering incorrectly but I think the scenario re the rope bridge was:

Ben did the risk assessment
Bridge assessed safe for two people only
Someone [Ben?] was supposed to be ensuring two only on bridge

It doesn’t make sense that people can’t see how aggressive meena is being when she talks to them. Her sister for starters. Dawn- I mean, she walked herself into dawns house and sat down- red flag. Then the ways she speaks. Anyone IRL would say “err, reverse yourself right back out that door missy”. And Billy. He’s not that desperate for a shag that he is oblivious to how forceful she is being with him.

The Billy scenario is exactly the same as she was with David. She invited herself on a date with him, wouldn't take no for an answer and then got herself moved in, even though he wasn't that keen. It seems like nobody will stand up to her.

It's all so tedious and is going on and on and on. It's not remotely suspenseful or gripping - just plain boring.

Yes which makes no sense. Men really aren’t that cowed to bossy women. IRL David and Billy would have just ghosted her.

I haven't been keeping up to date with the news but can someone explain what's going on with David and Victoria actors?

I googled it today as couldn't understand what is going on. First of all David and Victoria had some sort of argument. But then on top of that they apparently both took the piss out of the accent of one of the mixed race female actors and that actor put in a complaint which made Emmerdale suspend David and Victoria until the New year. Mixed race actor has not been named but speculation is on Meena, Priya or Manpreet. Victoria actress denies there was anything racist and it's just a misunderstanding 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wouldn't it be a twist that it's the Meena actress who by default has extended her run on Emmerdale by getting rid of the 2 main actors who are involved in her character's downfall.

Whatever is going on its certainly screwed up weeks of filming and storylines.

Can just imagine Ben actors face, rehearsing his lines for scenes as he leaves for Newquay, director comes over, “err, forget about those, you’re dying now, just croak out a feeble “help””

Just caught up. I'm not a fan of Ben (who is?) but that made me feel sick. I don't want to see someone begging for their life on Emmerdale. It's actually disgusting. I presume when Danny Miller told them he was leaving they decided to kill Ben off. If Aaron leaves thinking Liv did it then that's just awful.
