DH walked in just as Rupert's Bear's mum spoke his real/ original name. You should have seen his expression 😂
When I was pregnant with my youngest we used to refer to baby Rupert (By choice I had no idea of the sex of any of my children before they were born)

Quite enjoyed today's episode. Loved Trudi Goodwin, I think she was styled on Prue Leith actually! Funny Bear choosing that name over Rupert but I know a lady who changed her name as she hated being called Jemima. It was unusual to see Valerie shouting at a patient and she definitely needed to be called up on it but I liked Daniel's attempt at listening to her and understanding her position. Why was Emma being such a bitch though?

Valerie is annoying. How could she expect anyone to take her self-wedding thing seriously?

I haven't watched yet- but have been reading your comments about Bear's name, and when his mum mentioned his sister (Juliet) I did think it was odd that his name was Bear- and wondered if it was actually just a nickname, since it's so different to Juliet.

Not that Rupert is better, but I wouldn't want to be called either, if it was me .

(And yes, it explains the terrible Rupert bear inspired outfits he has always worn .)

I do think, rather than the wedding malarkey- Val should have just got another cat. Probably cheaper , and I'm sure she'd have been happier- for more than just a party for one day.

I doubt very much it was an isolated incident. Especially as it happened not just to Makeda - but to Bear as well.

Oh- another complaint - was it the receptionist?

Bear is being rather masterful.

He's doing very well- and there's no way he can be accused of being aggressive.

(Which I'm sure the manager would love to be able to do).
