I write some the intro bit when the dances are announced and some skeleton of the other bits. Saturday I scribble notes as I'm watching. Sunday I try to decipher what I've written & fill in that bit, then sort of live type the elimination. It's fun & I enjoy it 😄

What does "Sleeping Beauty" mean? The only song from the film anyone knows is Once Upon A Dream and surely that's a waltz? Although you could probably do a very sophisticated foxtrot to I Wonder if you were a much better dancer than Dan.

I’m sad Nina left she was great last week, I quite like Neil. Am less keen on Gorka I think he could be stroppy. Agree with the poster who said they should do same dances first few weeks as some are far trickier and it’s unlucky if they get a difficult dance early doors...

Aljaz said in an interview that they choose the genre each week and sometimes they decide to get the trickier ones out of the way.

Also I strongly dispute the "Top 5 Jive" thing (personally) fairly sure loads of us were horrified last Christmas when this was announced

Jay's was amazing but it was really heavily themed. I wish we'd seen him do 'straight' jive as well.

Alesha's was also pretty amazing actually - think her & Louisa shared a dress!

God, I miss Matthew Cutler - he was so beautiful to watch and Alesha & Matt are probably still my favourite couple the show has had - just magical to watch! Don't think they did one dud dance - I think even their Week 1 dance was incredible..

Alesha was the epitome of the dancer in the music box perfect, but the year I have never recovered from and never shall was the outright Highway Robbery of Ali Bastian, Brian Fortuna, Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe. Like its one of the biggest reality tv never mind just Strictly injustices of all time.

And sorry for the spam but I think I've posted this Groip Jive on every Strictly thread since it was performed... the music, the couples - everything was right (apart from Vincent & Flavia, but they were so damn hot together, I'll forgive them anything!)
