Amy’s coat was horrendous.

I think if Morag would drop whatever Essex girl act she has going on her and Luke would actually get on Quite well but as someone pointed out, because he doesn’t fit the look she thinks is desirable she will forever be embarrassed by him in company. And he deserves better than that.

I recognise the riding school Franky and Maylise went to. I went on a walking pony trek there and my pony (Piglet) did that thing of suddenly putting his head down for grass. I had him on a tight rein and it completely unbalanced me and I fell off! Bloody hurt it did.

I think Marylise has been let down by the experts if she would only contemplate a partner who didn't want his own children whilst happily accepting her own.

Feel sad for Dan and Matt! Dan is very inflexible - perhaps because he is young and hasn't been tested in this way before.

One thing I have noticed about Luke and Morag is that when they aren't having their interminable conversations they do actually have a proper laugh together.

Poor Josh was freezing his tits off in that field. They could at least have given him a blanket like Amy.

It looks to me like these final dates were filmed at quite different times of the year? There were no leaves on the treesin Josh and Amy's date but it seemed to be late summer for Morag and Luke. Hmm.

Just coming on to agree with some previous points. Amy's coat for one. I had wondered if they had to wear clothes from a sponsor like they do on Take Me Out, that would go some way to explaining. But I saw a still of Amy on her reporting from the races and she didn't look any better. She could've let Josh borrow her big coat to stop the shivers.

Franky and Marylise both have an odd way of talking. Marylise's mouth and the way she speaks reminds me a lot of the actress who played Liz MacDonald in Coronation Street.

Franky's way of speaking is very milatarised , like he's just delivering facts not like he's conversing normally.

I wonder if he talks like that off camera, or if he's trying to be super careful hoping he wont't be misrepresented. He seems at pains to try and make himself very clear, but obviously sometimes the edit won't work in his favour. For example I didn't like the way it seemed Marylise questioned him about children because he was saying his comments were from before he met her, based on an ideal world and he does at least realise, unlike Morag, that you don't always get what you order and sometimes it works out better.

I'm not even a Franky fan or defender, just trying to always get a more rounded picture.

I do think a lot of the way franky speaks is down to wanting to be very clear with what he’s saying, which takes away any degree of emotion or feeling. Whether that’s to protect himself from being misconstrued or whether it’s carefully controlling his image, who knows. It’s only dropped a couple of times, once being over that letter at the dinner party, and he came across as rather more inarticulate, repeating himself and saying he was joking with no change in tone at all.
It may be that he’s just very uncomfortable in front of the cameras, and went into the process thinking he’d be okay but has found it all rather harder than expected, for whatever reason.
