I'm one episode behind again, but I like to shoe-horn my opinions in on the thread even if everyone just scrolls past.
Amy has confirmed once and for all that she is an out and out brat and pretty much un-marriable (word?) and I hope to God she watched her performance back and cringed. That huge house that was rented for them and she even had to turn her lip up at everything in that! I don't understand why Josh stayed in the room while they were putting the shopping away ... he should have left the mardyarse to it. Her two friends seemed pretty groovy though.
I love Luke's Mum. She is a wise woman, so polite to Morag, so very caring towards Luke. She must have been screaming inside but kept a calm exterior going. But why did Luke have to tell her he was in love with Morag? and why did M have to say "but I'm a chapter behind" for the eleventy billionth time? Some things you don't need to share with your parents.
Matt and his parents also have an unusually attached relationship for someone of his age. It's wrong to expect your adult children to live near you just because you would miss them if they lived further away. They seem like nice people but extremely stifling.
I think Franky has no social skills whatsoever. I genuinely think he says the wrong thing most of the time, rather than deliberately hostile or scary things. He's a bit of a plank really, believes in his own Alpha male narrative, can't relate to women at all, thinks Marylise wants to hear him say he could be an influence on her sons - rather than being inappropriate. Remember his wedding speech? He's very very awkward.
Tayah and Adam - dear oh dear. Can't wait to see Tayah's Mum on that subject tonight. Even if T was told to critique his house surely she must realise how painful that was to watch? She looks like a bunny boiler.
