I thought Dr Legg’s house was in Golders Green? Anyway, probate went through, the house was put in the market and sold all within a couple of weeks after he died. Whereas in real life that process would likely take a year or more. Plus there was no mention of the big chunk of inheritance tax that would have been deducted.
I find the Rocky/Uncle Tommy stuff a bit far fetched, but let’s see how it pans out.

It also makes no sense that Sonia has power of attorney for Dot, given that Dot’s living with her grandson (?) and family in Ireland. Especially given Sonia’s history of theft and fraud. Or that she’d leave this big old house in London when she could sell it and give some of the money to her family.

I wouldn't let Sonia Fowler anywhere near my bank account : she has a bit of a history of ripping off people in the past ( the weight watchers people, Dot herself!)
Why Dot has allowed this is a mystery
Same mystery as why nobody has seen a photo of Rock on Tommy on social media or looked up a website for him ( a hotshot manager would have publicity stuff on line surely ?)
It's not the 1980s anymore is it ?
Mobiles and the internet has been around years for years now and the youngsters all own phones. Carol Branning can't be living that far away she can't be contacted ! Is she in the middle of the Amazon?
It is all so far fetched isn't it?

The POA was set up for my mum when she had capacity but only kicked in when she lacked capacity, but I don’t understand why Sonia is now acting as if Dot now lacks capacity and she is now acting on her behalf.

Can only guess it's been thirty odd years and he didn't remember him properly/ assumed he had just aged. Also supposed to Assume Sonia never sent a pic to her mum. Weak writing

Completely unbelievable that Sonia wouldn't check out Rocky's real identity - but at least the writers gave us an unexpected twist which is rare. The agent Rocky brought along to meet Whitney, I guess she's in on the stolen identity thing too.
Disappointing send off for Linda, even if only for a few months.

Tommy Cotton looks unhappy at being bossed around by Dotty Cotton ( who is a lot like her dad ) so maybe he'll end up fessing up and they will all forgive him and Dotty will be written out?
Maybe he'll take over the club and arrange a charity fundraiser for the mosque!
Then Whitney will be able to sing again.

Wouldn't Dotty be inline to inherit Dots money anyway ? I'm sure power of attorney does not mean speculating with the money ! Both Sonia and Martin are going to end up destitute, maybe they can get back together !
