Well Corrie recently did a storyline didn't they where a jilted ex lover of one of the characters turned up with a toddler who she claimed was his. In the end it turned out it was a baby she was nannying.

So this could be similar but for financial gain. I’m not convinced it’s Denny’s in any case

I think that they panicked when getting shot of denny and thought how can we keep the spawn of Den Watts alive

The actress who plays Alyssa's mum is 16, same age as Bleu Landau who played Denny.

And why would she leave her at Sharon’s flat as Dennis never lived there?

@JCFJW - I don’t think Denny was raped by an older girl. I think he was messing around with this girl and obviously both of them didn’t use contraception! I think he did have some interest in girls but kept it quiet.

When they met Alyssa’s mum, Sharon turned to Zack and said “she’s just a child, what were you thinking” to make us realise that she’s very young even if we think she looks older.

@Fiddlersgreen - yeah I’m guessing Alyssa’s mum was 15 or so when she was sleeping with/having sex with Denny.

I’m guessing this will freak Sharon out as guessing she won’t have thought Denny capable of sex. Would the mum really want Sharon to bring up her daughter though?

Yeah I suppose it’s not completely unbelievable that Denny had sex with a girl of the same age before he died and she got pregnant.

Sharon will get obsessed with the baby now I think, a living piece of her son. Mum will want Alyssa back and Sharon will refuse. Or I could also see Sharon taking both mum and baby in and supporting her as it seems as though she doesn’t have much support at home?

Is it just me who doesn't like this new character Jada? She's coming across as very aggressive and almost mean in her manner. Not what you would expect from a young mum desperate for help with her small child iyswim?

It's all a bit suss really. Her mum has died. No dad around either. No other family members to speak of. But then she knows all these details about Sharon's life. I mean, she could have known Denny and he told her those things. I remember he did go through a phase of hating her for the affair with Keanu 🤔

Completely agree about Callum's lippy and Kathy as Madonna! Can't believe that actress is the age she is. She doesn't seem any older than when she first started on EE 😁
