I wanted to like Greg but he annoyed me, which is annoying confused He was in Celebrity Bake Off and was an absolute pain. Took himself far too seriously. He was incredibly beautiful in Sense and Sensibility though. Love Adam and hope the Dragon's Den woman can dance cos Aliazj ? is my fave professional.

I’ve had Greg Wise and Greg Davies mixed up in my head for a few days and was upset that Davies was apparently married to Emma T. All makes sense (& Sensibility) now.

Saw AJ on The Wheel a couple of weeks ago. She was very full on. And had never heard of the Suffragettes. Nor knew how to pronounce the word. Her Northerness needs toning down in my opinion.

AJ is having a go at “serious” acting isn’t he? Didn’t’t he have a stint in Hollyoaks or similar?

Kevin left before the 2029 series, he’s gone back to the West End I think.

I think I’ve found the reason for Tess’s baggy jumpsuit. There’s a pic in the Mail Online of her sat astride the horse in the opening sequence. She clearly needed the extra material for that. Strange choice.

Professional AJ initially had signed onto to 2020 series.. Then his brothers got a bit of fame through Love Island and the BBC dance programme (which I thought he came across well). I think AJ then quit to do something with his brother, a tv shower tour, but with Covid nothing happened.

Strictly has obviously employed Tilly’s partner in replacement.

Did anyone else think the show had a slightly different vibe last night. Still had the same key elements, but a few differences. Eg, different way of meeting partners, first dance in a warehouse. Is it a new producer trying new things out?

I just assumed this was more Covid measures? I was surprised to see they still had the judges plexiglass etc.

Nothing against Tilly (who looked lovely last night btw) but just a feeling he might not go for cervix havers in general...
Bet there’ll be some kitchen malarkey VTs...

So .. Tilly Ramsey.
Was she the daughter that Gordon said he set cameras up in her room as a teenager? (I honestly can’t remember why - he obviously wanted to spy on her for some reason - but let’s face it there’s no reasonable explanation TBH).
And then there was his bit in the Times (or similar paper) many years ago (one of those “day in the life” type things) where he described waking up on a Sunday morning and letting his toddler female child play with his penis.

Considering she’s from Blackburn, she actually doesn’t sounds that northern.

Have you not seen sense and sensibility. It’s the most fantastic and beautiful film. I’ve seen it dozens of time. I bloody love it.

I was so pleased to see Gio partnered with Rose, I think that's a complete testament to how far he's come from his first series.

I really hope it's his year for winning, he definitely deserves it.

I never normally watch the launch show but did last night & enjoyed it! I actually think I like most of the celebrities!

I love Adam Peaty, so hope he does well. I don't like Katya but if he wins I'll see past my dislike of her, & her choreography is usually amazing!

Also love Rose & Gio, so hope she does well too.

Liked many of them
But felt like there were far too many of them
By the end I had forgotten the first pairings and they couldn’t all fit on the dance floor

It’s going to be bedlam the first few weeks until they thin the herd
