I also agree that she won't last that long. She looked very wooden when she took a turn on the floor. Also the cbbc vote will be split between her & karim 2.0

Not watched it yet but wanted to say I’m excited about John and Johannes

Was initially excited about H and Matt on DOI but H just kept being picked up and spun around.

I’m thinking Johannes can be much much more creative

I feel Greg may go early doors. But not before mentioning Dame Emma a billion times first. I reckon Judy Love may be in for a while as she's pretty well known. Tilly will be out soon too, she looks deeply uncomfortable and there'll be too many over-protective dad jokes.

Alas poor Tilly, though lovely it seems, does not appear to be a born hoofer.

I hope I’m wrong though.

I think that AJ looks absolutely stunning but she is way too full on for me. I’ve had the misfortune of seeing her on other stuff like Apocalypse Wow so that may have clouded my judgement.

The young chap from the modern day equivalent of the Broom Cupboard is equally in your face but if that is the persona for the type of programmes they’ve been on, then I hope they settle down a wee bit and let themselves shine without the full-on-ness.

I love to be proved wrong.

Waves to Sheldon Wine. Broom cupboard guy seems sweet and bouncy. The new pro with AJ seems quite reserved, I hope he'll cope!
Tilly seems nice and pleasant enough, but is she a celebrity? Maybe she's done stuff I haven't seen.
I loved Karen's Art Deco jumpsuit. Sge is fierce.
Oti is a goddess.

Tilly has done cookery programmes. I have watched (and cooked) with some of the littler people.

They also know of the broom cupboard chap and like him.

I am probably not their target audience but strictly throws up lots of surprises.

If I looked like Karen or Oti then I wouldn’t scare myself every morning when I brushed my teeth and washed my coupon. 🥴

I’d be too busy gazing at myself to care about work 🤣

I would imagine it might restrict her range of movement.

I'm glad someone else was bemused by the weirdly long crotch. I mean I'm all for the avoidance of camel toe but you could have hidden a herd of camels and their riders in that jumpsuits with no fear of them being seen!

Evening all, just marking my place ready for next week.

Watched the launch show with DD - she’s 7 and it’s the first year she’s taken an interest, so yay!

Suspect first to go will be either Dan, Greg or Tilly, all were pretty stiff.

Pleasantly surprised that Adam appears to have rhythm, I was worried his humongous shoulders would restrict his movement, but he looked ok.

Loved AJ’s energy and very jealous of her legs - literally up to her armpits!

I'm going for Rose, Adam (despite Katya) and team JJ as my finalist favourites.

I do think Sara and Aljaz will work well together too. She's very likeable.

Is Gordon Ramsey one of the slebs? He is getting more mentions than some of the actual contestants. Probably not doing Tilly any favours.
So .. Tilly Ramsey. Was she the daughter that Gordon said he set cameras up in her room as a teenager? (I honestly can’t remember why - he obviously wanted to spy on her for some reason - but let’s face it there’s no reasonable explanation TBH). And then there was his bit in the Times (or similar paper) many years ago (one of those “day in the life” type things) where he described waking up on a Sunday morning and letting his toddler female child play with his penis. Both of the above incidents are from his own mouth. Of course he has other daughters, so it may not have been Tilly. But 😕🤢

Hmmm.... I am out of the UK right now so haven't caught up with the launch show, but really don't like some of the pairings, particularly Nina and Neil. Wish she had got Aljaz or Gio. Also don't like Robert Webb with Diane; there will be more hideous running around and falling over like that Simpson's thing last year. Gorka's partner this year looks exactly like his partner last year, to me.

On the plus side, my fave Gio looks like he has a good partner.

Watched the Showa d thought it was a good opener, although I missed the line-up when the celebs meet their partners for the first time. I love watching their delight or horror as the celebs find out whether they have a contender or a duck.

Cbbc person - could be good if he has the right partner - I don’t really know his partner wand what she like.

Robert Webb - don’t know why, I was surprised he was partner with Diane

Dan/Dan - May struggle initially, but I hope will stay in and will develop

Graziano - I hope he has learnt to close his mouth, - in the past he has always danced with his mouth open

Oti/rugby player - looks good pairing

My favourite to win would be Adam/Karen. Atheletes always have the drive and mentality plus Karen is a seasoned Strictly performer.
