Just came on to say... this thread is bloody amazing and I agree with PPs, is better than the actual show! I didn't catch last nights until this afternoon but I was SO desperate to check for updates on here!

And also... I really feel for Josh. I hope Amy calms down a bit, takes a step back and they actually have a proper conversation. As they say, comparison is a thief of joy, and that is all Amy is doing. I do feel for her as she seems to be rushing everything as she feels like 34 is a ticking time bomb, but she's pushing Josh away who seems to be the most level headed of all the people on the show!

My thoughts on tonight;

The men (except Bob and Fergal) are fucking cowards for all picking Megan. Let's face it, they've got a huge range of unpleasant women to pick from and they went they easy way because of the (non) cheating. Poor Bob, surely they'd have known that upset him.

Megan has gone right up in my estimation. She's got way too much heat for the non-event that was the kiss. I'm still reeling the ixpert called it an affair FFS. So pleased she defended herself.

Feel sorry for Alexis re Ant friend zoning. She's being rejected physically again. She's bloody gorgeous too. But did herself no favours going off at Megan. That's extremely low self esteem manifesting.

Morag - what a cow dropping that (non) bombshell. Why couldn't she just leave it to them as a couple. I can't imagine Josh remembers her, he probably messages loads of random women on a normal day, and that's why he's said nothing - he can't remember her. Moo is a fitting nickname.

Anyone notice on the boys day Luke wore his 'old' clothes. So pleased Megan pointed out to Morag that she'd be off like a shot of a rugby player showed interest. Morag has absolutely no plans to stay with Luke.

Did I read right that Morag said she was told to say it? By the producers presumably, who have been trawling through their SM and she probably doesn't remember Josh at all. She said he'd sent her messages but what were they - Hey, like your pics? Dick pics? Did she reply? A lot of fuss about nothing I think.

Can't stand Alexis and her attitude. She's all me me me. She didn't really like Jordon, but really didn't like that he wasn't interested in her. She's now more pissed off about Megan and Jordons convo about their bad fake telly marriage than she is about the kiss. She had the same convo with Ant while sitting beside Jordon.
She's taking Ants lack of interest out on Megan.

From yesterday's show it was sad to see Frankie tell Marylise(?) only he finds her lazy eye attractive. Wtf. Trying to find a flaw in her appearance and dress it up as an odd compliment. Manipulative. He'll try break her down to mirror his own insecurities.

I cannot understand why Morag felt the need to bring that up now? If she was told to then fair enough and maybe she was as she did emphasise not wanting to mention it. If she brought it up of her own volition then it just comes across as shit stirring as she could have mentioned that Josh follows her on instagram nearer the start, quietly to just Amy rather than a group announcement, as a 'haha small world' sort of comment. If I were her, I'd assume he had no recollection/didn't recognise me so best to keep it quiet. Unless they had spoken extensively and she'd stalked loads of his photos then I am surprised she remembered him either.

Its scripted, sometimes they film multiple takes, the producers set them up into scenarios, they shit stir and the wind the Couples up.

What they are looking for is love or hate. Friendship, peace and harmony isn't good tv. The contestants will most likely have signed NDAs and they are paid

The lazy eye comment was so weird. Franky said it as if they'd discussed it before, and was reassuring her that it's barely noticeable (which is what I think Paul took from it), however the Marylise replied saying that nobody has ever told her she has a lazy eye before. 🤔🤷‍♀️

I was rudely interrupted with urgent work so had to watch last night without the thread or sound, subtitles are rhubarb.
Last night Mog was bang on the shit list with that stirring but I've watched again with the thread and scripted confirmation!

Too many fame hunters to be enjoyable there are plenty of wannabe programmes they didn't need to take the easy options here.

Does anyone else think Ant has the ick? See the fleeting expression when he worried she might just have at him?

And someone (not bob) should have defended Meg, spineless fuckers using her as scapegoat.

Next episode is dinner party three. Then another commitment ceremony. That will make for five straight episodes of watching people talk about their relationships, instead of seeing the relationships. Stop wasting my time Channel 4.

TV is a visual medium. Show don't tell. The couples often like to make the point that what we do see is controlled by the editing, but at the moment we're not seeing anything one way or the other. Even in the small parts where it is just the couples together, they're talking about what has happened, rather than showing us what is happening.

I can go back and check all the participants instagrams at the end of it and read about what happens, and I'll know as much as I would by watching the next eight or nine hours - without having to sit through the interminable ads and flashbacks.

I hope some of the rest of you are enjoying it.
