Yes I agree she was being mean to him and butcher about him. Fine that he wasn’t for her but no need to go on like she did and it’s clear she doesn’t want to try so she should have let him know that.

I think Megan was unnecessarily unkind to Bob. Even if you don't fancy someone, you can be kind. I think Bob would stop doing the class clown thing if he felt secure in a relationship. The whole acting up thing is a little boy trying to get some attention and warmth and love. I really feel for him and I think he's been amazingly gracious to her. (And I'm an introvert who needs me time too).

I haven't read the thread but I am catching up on Wednesdays episode. What happened to the boys? Why are they not being mentioned?

Yes I agree Bob would stop being so attention seekery if she gave him some attention... It is easy to see he is very caring and he himself was upset because she was upset.
I felt for him last night. Well, until he put that ham on his face 🤦

@stupiduser the guys called and said they weren't coming to meal but would explain later. They then said all was good though and having a fab holiday

I think everyone's being a bit hard on Meghan. When you're an introvert, being in a social setting with people who are over-the-top confident and want to be the centre of attention can be excruciating, especially when they try to "jolly" you into joining in. So imagine being married to one. We're only seeing a brief snapshot of the time Meghan and Bob are together – she's with him 24/7. I'm not saying he's doing anything wrong – although pretending the ham was his tongue was stomach-churning and the kind of thing I'd expect from a child – but the fact is they are 100% incompatible and Meghan isn't being bitchy or nasty towards him, she's just embarrassed that he constantly draws attention to himself and she can't help that. Honestly, as someone who also craves space and peace and quiet and values my alone time, Bob would be my idea of hell too, no matter how nice he is.

She was awful about him when they were on the sofas. Jibes and jabs flying across that sofa and he just sat there quietly and took it.

And it was downright weird how she immediately blurted out to everyone ‘are you in love’ etc when they just walked in

Jordan comes across as a rude arrogant self obsessed man. Alexis deserves so much better, Ant is beautiful, feel sorry just experience has been ruined by unhinged Nikita, thanks for putting us NE girls on the map

In terms of Alexis and Ant coupling up, it has been done before on MAFSA with Dan and Jess both leaving their partners and convincing the experts they had something real. They didn’t FYI

The experts should be prosecuted for putting Jordan on this show and matching him with Alexis. "They've both had tough upbringings so they'll have lots in common". Yeah? From what I can see Alexis has an absolutely brilliant relationship with her Mum, she's not missed out there.

I think Meghan is just young and self-conscious and doesn’t know how to handle the situation with grace. Bob seems to be well-meaning but he would do my head in with five minutes.

I don’t get Megan- she went on and on about being an introvert then got straight up in people’s business with the ‘are you in love?!’ interrogation. No doubt she’d have moaned if that was the first question other contestants assaulted her with.

I’ll bet her twin makes things quite difficult too- his ‘overprotectivness’ translates into not wanting to lose his partner in crime for nights out and holidays etc I think.

I like Alexis and Ant but she also has quite a colourful way of speaking sometimes… which is a bit hard on the ears, wonder if Ant would mind that

I agree that Bob is too full on for Meghan but there's a difference between knowing someone's not quite right for you and being overtly mean, cruel and cutting. She seems to very much have the attitude that she's 'right' and he's 'wrong' but I think they're just both different (probably too different).

No need to belittle the man. Just be honest, tell him you don't want to stay with him and then be civil and friendly until the commitment ceremony.

I agree and I don't think she's as introverted as she makes out when she will happily slag him off to all and sundry, put him down in front of people and run up to strangers asking how their marriages are

Those wondering what the rest of the episodes will be filled with. If it follows the Australia version they will have a visit home to meet the friends/families. A group holiday. Can’t remember what else at the moment

There's also always some cringey 'challenge' week. Like intimacy week (where they have to basically shag or come close) or 'yes week' where they take it in turns to do what their partner wants, down to dressing as they're told.

Tbf, Nikita is like that in real life. She tries to play up the ragdy Geordie (even though she's from durham). I've only really met her on nights out so she's usually had a few and would definitely fit in on GS.
