Agree bit rich fiz blaming Tyrone for hopes behaviour! She was a pyromaniac long before he put his slippers under alina’s bed. More likely her psychopathic genes inherited from her father and shared with her crazy sister.

I’m just catching up (busy week last week)… I don’t want to be unkind, but I couldn’t concentrate on any of the school scenes because of the deputy head’s hair. I couldn’t take my eyes off it.

I did enjoy Ken referencing the gnomes, as well as him adjusting his tie ready to make his ‘pillar of the community’ speech, only for
Billy to call on Roy Grin

I’m also glad Shona seems to be back to being Shona. I don’t know if they’re just going to hope we forget the brain damage, but frankly I don’t care. I’m just happy at the idea of getting a good character back, instead of her being wasted with the odd inappropriate aside.

Yes NewHeadMax has been well casted. It often takes me a while to get used to a new actor but Max's replacement has gone seamlessly

The stuff with Grace is incredibly infuriating. A few weeks ago, Edison was so short of cash he couldn’t pay Paul’s wages. But now he is so flush that he can pay for a house for his son’s ex?

What's going to happen to Daniel's wallet? Daniel should have said to David that Sinead had given it to him then David/Shona may have felt guilty and returned it.

Yes I thought they missed a trick with the wallet. I expected there to be a photo of Sinead in it to guilt max/David into returning it.

My DS was in stitches last night at David being angry with Max. He said David looks like a 12 year old with a beard and he couldn’t take him seriously if he was his dad Grin

I think it works because rather than a 12 year-old character being played by an actor who is clearly at least 16, as usually happens, he looks the right age, whereas the previous actor looked very young for his age.

Doesn't work for me, he looks bigger than David, and is also rather wooden as an actor. Surprising, considering the competition there must have been for that part.

Tbf my DS1 is taller than his dad. My uncle was taller than his dad. And my ex (not DSs dad) was over a foot taller than his dad. Grin

Callum was Max’s/Harry’s dad and yes he was quite tall.
