I loved Cam and Jules, they were so in love and so grounded. I was also very sad when Mike and Heidi didn’t work out. And I really liked Elizabeth, seeing her with Sebastian was complete joy.
DP and I both shed a tear when Mike and Heidi didn’t work out.
We identified with them both, we’ve had a tumultuous relationship with lots of sexual chemistry but some significant differences in the way we view life. Every time they argued it was like a blow by blow of one of our rows!
He would always see Mike’s side (although admitting he could be a bit of an arse) while I would try and explain Heidi’s side as she was 100% me in this equation (and he thought she was a moaner and sucked the joy out of things - which he would say to me in arguments too!). We were rooting for them as it was almost as if their success was somehow linked to ours. Luckily we’ve gone the distance even though they didn’t.
Also loved Simon and Alene and the ones who lived too far apart - the farmer who turned up on a horse and his bride (Susan maybe?!) with the long brown hair.
If anyone has managed to watch the latest Aus series online, I found Coco so annoying for the first 2-3 episodes, but then really warmed to her and was rooting for her!
