So pleased to find this thread. I am a latecomer to the party having only (binge)watched the last Australian series so all over this one now. I agree that none of the matches so far look like they'll work. The kids and distance thing are surely such basic requirements that I can't believe they don't appear to factor this into the matching. I'm hoping Morag will redeem herself as Luke definitely deserves better. Although I wouldn't fancy him either, when they showed a preview clip of M saying "he's not what I ordered" my DP was walking past, took one look and responded "oh my god, I imagine he's saying the same!" I love Marylise but fear for her with Franky; as someone else has said he oozes ex-military and appears quite damaged. She sounds as if she needs someone more straightforward. Can't wait until the next episode!

DH and I did spend quite a lot of time trying to work out whether Morag’s eyelashes were going to fall off during her heart to heart with Luke. Very odd.

I’ve been watched with my DD17 and not sure she’s getting the best insight into modern relationships but we enjoy the bonding experience.Grin We have to keep pausing to say our bit as we get very annoyed watching. As if the show can deliver an ‘order’! They can only match from those that apply. Unless they actually go out and recruit as we found out they did for the Australian show. One candidate was approached in a pub and they were paid for each week they stayed in the ixperiment.

Nikita is horrific. Ant's dad wand family were clearly appalled at her language and lack of manners. Nikita's family have got a serious case of rose tinted spectacles when it comes to their princess! She has no redeeming features. Her constant digs for compliments were ridiculous and Ant was right to call her out on it. I feel really sorry for him. He seems like a really nice guy and if I was him I'd be seriously questioning why the ixperts thought that was all I deserved!

She is awful, I would be embarrassed to be around anyone like that. I just couldn't take having that sort of person in my life. Every day would be a battle, I feel so sorry for Ant, he must be counting down the days.

I've just binge watched this!
Nikita is most peculiar looking, poor Ant he found it difficult to find anything to compliment her for apart for her complexion.
As for that awful speech by Frankie Shock it was completely cringe!
Looking forward to future episodes

Finding this both fascinating and horrific.
Franky is just a horrible human being - not wanting to use Marylise's name is awful, she has a name you horrid ratman-use it. But it's obviously all about control and exerting his manliness over women for him. He thinks he's something special but is actually a manchild who has run off to Dubai because real life in the UK is too much for him.

I think I'm the only person on the thread who actually doesn't mind Josh. He's very young, immature even, but I don't think there's anything awful about him.

I'm fascinated by the eyebrow trends of today - I know we all had sperm eyebrows back in the 90s, but at least we weren't all over social media then - these women are surely going to look back at photos think wtaf was I doing with those brows?

I think Bob might calm down a bit. (Hopefully).

I thought Morag and the shopping trip were appalling - why did he go along with it? How does anyone find those tight, short, pale jeans attractive?

I'm going to speak in defence of Morag here. I don't think Luke is even remotely in her league looks wise, and i would find him exceptionally irritating. The gurning would really get on my tits and did anyone notice the way he eats his food? Like he's using a shovel not a fork. And she had a point about the clothes, he looked SO much better after they went shopping. And she did tell him she wanted affection and hand holding and he just kind of went "meep meep" at her and said to the camera that she should lead the way - she did! But still he did nothing. He's way too much of a wet blanket for me. He might be 'nice' but TBH I'd also find the lack of self esteem really unattractive.

I confess I couldn’t tell the difference between the clothes he was originally wearing and the ones he tried on, other than also thoroughly disliking the skinny jeans. They were the sort of trousers that Jordan’s young men wear. But I imagine Morag and I have very different tastes in men.

I think Morag just looks false. Her eyebrows look stupid. If she wants affection and sex then instigate it ffs. We are not living in the 17th century. Make a move woman if it doesn't work out you know you have tried.

So far from what we’ve seen, I think Nikita and Josh. I don’t think Nikita would think Bob is in her league - remember her extensive list of requirements…..

Some of them do feel like an easy quick fix -

Nikita and Josh
Megan and Luke
Amy and Bob

Morag and Ant probably not a disaster and worth a shot - less of a car crash than their current pairings.

The preposterous mis-matching on this show is not even funny and all the so-called experts should just be sacked.

Unless they are teaching all the wannabes who apply for every reality show a lesson?

The worst match is Josh and Amy.

The most unappealing participant - Franky and Nikita so far.

It's disgusting that they don't get a twin bedded room, or even adjoining rooms.

I'm slightly embarrassed that I've even watched 4 episodes, I feel grubby.

This. And I don’t think Luke is remotely lacking in self esteem, in fact he probably has too much of it for this programme.
