The thing for me with the whole Faye/Teddy situation is that Clarisse came back to the villa. It's obvious that Teddy spoke in a moment about sexual attraction, was respectful enough to shut it down and then obviously it was gone. I can't believe none of the other girls have mentioned this, if he was attracted to her then they surely would have noticeably gravitated towards each other on their return?
Exactly this. Thing is Faye knows it wasn't a big deal, it's an excuse she used to deflect from her behaviour with Sam (Teddy did say she hadn't told him everything that had been said with Sam - even Dale picked Faye up on it). But she's just always in victim mode.
On After Sun, Faye's send off commentary to the camera about Sam was how funny he was, how he took the piss out of her and how much she loved it. Exactly the things she said she DIDN'T like about Teddy. It's so obvious she isn't into Teddy (that BS about her thinking she'd found the 'One' in him until Casa Amor...), but cannot stand people thinking she's the bad guy. Her insecurities make her cowardly, and self centred which in turn makes her unempathetic and vicious. Disappointed how it's been played down completely by itv.
The After Sun clips with her showing remorse are still all about her and her trust issues - even worse that it looks like she will try to go after Teddy again, and he'll take her back. I don't think this is all the prize money - he is smart enough to know they won't win given that there are other couples who are stronger/less toxic. Also he always looks genuinely distraught. He really does like her and thinks all this is self sabotage, rather than accepting she is just not that into him - for all the reasons she has given him/the girls.
I was wondering why I have ended up liking Chloe/Toby and I think it is because both of them were very honest and respectful of the other people they went after. Toby never was affectionate with Kaz, Abi or Mary, and the minute he realised he still liked Chloe, he ended things with them, truthfully. He also apologised to every girl he did upset, unlike Kaz, Faye or Tyler who still have never said the words, "I am sorry". Lots of alluding to it, but not the actual words without also blaming the other person. Chloe turned down Hugo instead of rebounding with him, and even with Dale - she took it slow (no demanding kisses/cuddles), she was dignified when he said he wanted to get to know Faye- and both respectfully agreed to just stay friends when it was obvious there was nothing there. If there's no more drama between them, they could win I reckon!
