Saw the last 10 minutes of Emma. Impressive scoreline.
If she plays Barty next, that will be on a showcourt, so I hope she won't be too overwhelmed. She seems to be handling the pressure really well.

Just checked the late scores to see Barty has been knocked out. That is a shock. All the commentators in Emma’s match were assuming she would be playing Barty next.

Yes, apparently Ash was 5-2 up in the final set and served twice for the match.

I wonder if Emma is slightly disappointed not to play her.

I am sad about Ash- I do like her.
Shapovalov is out too - when I saw his draw I did wonder if an upset could happen. Lloyd Harris has had some good results this year- including beating Rafa, of course. So he must be feeling quite confident.

Some good matches today- an more potential for upsets. Svitolina is playing Halep, who has been playing better, but is still carrying an injury.
Could Dan beat Daniil?
Tiafoe and Felix AA could also be a good match up.
