@Soso7

No. That level of shouting is wrong. I pity any man that ends up with her.
If she had been left alone like she had asked, maybe she wouldn't have went as far as she did.
Janus · 06/08/2021 23:58

@AgnesNaismith I think you are mistaking Teddy for Liam??? He was the one who did the 3 way kiss. Teddy (and all of us) can find someone else sexually attractive, but you don’t act on it in any way because you are committed to someone else. He didn’t act on it and removed himself to sleep outside, bloody Liam didn’t, Tyler didn’t, bloody Faye didn’t! He showed much more respect than most of them and, as he said, he was technically single, only Jake and Liberty were boyfriend and girlfriend.
I have been very pro Faye, have totally seen her behaviour up until tonight has been because of her insecurity but she has gone massively too far. I feel very sorry for Teddy.

Blamelesscars · 06/08/2021 23:59

@JacquelineCarlyle no she started verbally abusing him while still sat at the table. She was in the wrong. This isn’t the first time she’s done it either in the villa. Her behaviour towards him has been out of order on many occasions and it comes across like she’s just trying to provoke and goad I’m him into reacting so that she can actually have something to back up her awful behaviour. She’s spoiling for a fight and because he doesn’t react she gets nastier and nastier.

I find it astonishing the amount of women who are happy to justify abusive behaviour by other women. I imagine faye has no qualms acting in the exact same way towards other women too. I can imagine why non of the girls in the villa want to get involved is because they’re terrified she’ll turn on them

PumpkinKlNG · 06/08/2021 23:59

Would you say that about a man? “Maybe is she had left him alone he wouldn’t have went that far !” 😳

@PumpkinKlNG

Yeah I would, what difference does it make if it's a man or a woman? If someone is upset and livid like she was and they told you to walk away, you walk away.

I walk away from my partner when I'm livid. Then when I've calmed down, we talk. Its what a lot of adults do.

MrsHastingslikethebattle · 07/08/2021 00:03

People are going as if she was whacking him, tearing up his clothes.

She flew off the handle because he wasnt the sweet and innocent as he made himself out to be. He could have just told her about the things he said to Clarisse, like she did with Sam.

PumpkinKlNG · 07/08/2021 00:03

And if they don’t walk away I suppose they “Deserve it” 😕

Blamelesscars · 07/08/2021 00:04

actually Faye continued to hurl abuse and shout and scream at him even when he was nowhere near her.

She wanted a fight. She wanted to feel big and powerful and make Teddy feel belittled. She’s been constantly attacking him verbally and making horrible snide comments about him in an attempt to belittle him:

DonnaDonna01 · 07/08/2021 00:04

I don’t think you can justify Faye’s behaviour in anyway it’s totally inappropriate. Absolutely devastating for Teddy to be spoken to like that on tv but he won’t be hated for it. When this is over it will be Faye who is public enemy number one and we all know how it all plays out. Love island should not have aired that tonight, no lessons learned there.

Dancingonmoonlight · 07/08/2021 00:04

She knew what Tyler was like but she wanted to feel like she won by getting him to chase her and get him back from the other girl. She knows he’s a faithless dick and doesn’t care

Yes! Kaz also sidled up to Faye tonight. They showed them walking together. Faye was awful again tonight and she has been awful many times previously. She does need anger management IMO and I also think If Kaz had behaved liked that and someone mentioned she needed anger management, some posters would jump in and say she was being portrayed as an aggressive black woman when really she was just being a strong woman etc.

Both women are hypocrites and treat people badly. Faye needs to be removed from the villa. It’s uncomfortable viewing and it must be very tense in the villla.

Twilight7777 · 07/08/2021 00:04

I honestly liked Faye, but after tonight’s performance I think she should be kicked off. If one of the boys had been shouting and gaslighting in this way they would be called abusive and kicked off.

With jake, I think Liberty is right to have doubts, but I’m surprised she’s not more upset about the fact that all her girl friends relationships have basically been sabotaged by her own boyfriend.

JacquelineCarlyle · 07/08/2021 00:05

I don't see it how you do @Blamelesscars

She was upset and vocal and asked him to walk away and when he didn't she continued to shout. It's not pleasant but she's upset and I can't see how that warrants the vitriol against her now.

Blamelesscars · 07/08/2021 00:10

She wasn’t just upset and vocal she was being verbally abusive, a behaviour she has demonstrated in more than one occasions, before they left the tables. She was being aggressive and coming across aggressor again.

JacquelineCarlyle · 07/08/2021 00:12

I'm happy to agree to disagree @Blamelesscars

hyperbole001 · 07/08/2021 00:14

@JacquelineCarlyle

Goodness, I feel like I'm watching a different show to everyone else - I don't think Faye did anything wrong. Teddy deliberately lied to her and she's not accepting that. Fair play to her. She might be shouty and that means she seems like she's in the wrong but she's perfectly entitled to her feelings and she's loud and happy to verbalise that.
Hello Faye's mum!
newplanneeded · 07/08/2021 00:16

yes she spiralled, she lost control - producers should have stepped in.

On the other hand I find Chloes, Millies and Libertys forgiveness equally hard to watch. they just accept all the poor behaviour from the boys. It's like Faye carries collective rage for all of them.

MrsMarvellous · 07/08/2021 00:20

Well I did used to like Faye but now I think she needs to be removed from the show. That was abuse, pure and simple and letting her continue in the villa at this point, in my opinion, would be akin to supporting domestic violence.

I thought it was pretty clear from the VT, given that he even loosely mentioned the L word, that the comments about no trust with Clarisse were just flanter used to reject her in a non hurtful way. He was basically saying,

"Oh you're very a tempting, beautiful lady but I value my current relationship and don't want to tempted when drunk or lonely or vulnerable to act in a way that may cause my partner pain" - but without using so many words!

I don't think Teddy has done anything wrong at all and Faye's reaction is just disgusting.

Matt and the popcorn was hilarious. The only people in there that I really like are Matt, Teddy and Abi. I think the least offensive of the couples is Chloe/Toby but I really just cannot warm to Chloe at all.

JacquelineCarlyle · 07/08/2021 00:21

I agree @newplanneeded and no, I'm not Faye's mum @hyperbole001 Grin

wizzler · 07/08/2021 00:22

I felt so sad watching Liberty who was so hurt. I found it hard to watch. Pleased that Chloe pointed out that Jake should be comforting her and looking after her.
Liberty deserves so much better.

Didiusfalco · 07/08/2021 00:25

I haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet and now I’m wondering whether I should? It sounds awful.

Blamelesscars · 07/08/2021 00:25

Chloe is such a good friend to Liberty. She’s the only one who pointed out how even his “apology” wasn’t an apology.

hyperbole001 · 07/08/2021 00:26

@JacquelineCarlyle

I don't see it how you do *@Blamelesscars*

She was unpleasant towards most of the guys today. Should they all have just left her alone while she continued to shout and swear incredibly loudly whilst in close proximity to them? She was being deliberately provocative, even before Teddy had tried to approach her.

I guess in future, we should all just tolerate provocation/foul language/shouting etc even if it makes us incredibly uncomfortable.

Not to mention she kicked all of it off by walking past Teddy and giving him the finger, and then shouting he should 'spin on it'. Mature.

JacquelineCarlyle · 07/08/2021 00:29

Not saying she was mature but I don't see any of them as mature @hyperbole001

As I said below, I'm happy to agree to disagree as I have a different viewpoint to you.
