Ugh she was being such a shouty bore. Just wandering about yelling, doing everyone's head in. And the worst bit is she thinks she's really witty and hilarious, like people are scared of her razor sharp tongue when actually it's just the noise that people are backing away from.
This. ^ She thinks she is funny and witty, but is getting increasingly cringeworthy and embarrassing. She thinks she is clever, and has a razor sharp wit, but she keeps coming out with bullshit comments, and things that make no sense, because she uses words out of context. She's actually not very bright.
I have met people like her before. There's one in every workplace, and every group (be that a hobby group, or friendship group etc,) and they always think they're funny, and sharp-witted, and that people are in awe of them, and above all, they think they're liked and respected by everyone. In reality, most people think they're a cunt.
There was a woman on The Chase today who put me in mind of Faye. She was obnoxious and rude, and called herself 'assertive.' She was (like Faye,) one of the 'tell it like it is' brigade, who think being a gobshite who says whatever the fuck they like, no matter how hurtful' is a positive trait. It's not. It's a HORRIBLE trait, and nobody thinks you're clever or funny, or 'big' in any way.
