Just found all 5 seasons on Syfy, Sky!! Just taken me back to my teenage years. Going to take me a while to get through them!

Would it be suitable for an 11/12 year old?

Yes, most of it pretty tame by today’s standards. Although they might find it very dated. Series one rated PG, series 2,3 & 5 rated 12 and series 4 rated 15.

The website IMDB has good detailed parents guidance for most films/tv.

My favourite episodes- evil leaper trilogy, the devil episode , the one where they were on a dig in Egypt and there was a cursed mummys tomb, and the vampire one.
Used to be loved to sit in kitchen and watch on the portable at nine on a Tuesday as my parents always had my grandparents on Tuesdays and they didn't like that kind of thing!

I still have the companion guide and tie in novels.

I have the guide and novels too, but a mouse got into them in the garage so they’re a bit unreadable. Can’t bring myself to throw them out though.

Since my last post I have found series one on Amazon prime bought and watched it all , I wish they had more on there

Hated the evil leaper stories. I loved the one where he was a single mum in the 80’s and the little girl could see Al and sam as he really was. She called him ‘Angel Al!’ After she stopped crying.

• The Colour of Truth (where he jumps into Jesse, a black man in the Deep South in the 1950s and shows the sheer prejudice and racism that was rife in the apartheid era 50s

Another Mother

• where a teenager is presumed to run away but turns out he was kidnapped. (His kid sister can see and hear Al as she's so little)

The one where there's two Al's, and one is the Devil.
That's some scary shit!!!
