I think the thing with Liam is he is so very handsome and kinda sophisticated looking. He looks more mature, almost like a James Bond sort of figure. I think it's his neat haircut and beard, his really regular features, his lack of tats. He also has a naturally quiet voice and isn't loud and mouthy.

So this lulls us all into thinking he's something he's not - someone with a bit of class, someone who is more worldly than the other lads, more classy. We (collectively) have been judging the book by its cover.

When in fact he's a 21 working class boy who thinks with his penis just like the rest of them.

At the moment I would like Millie to win LI with another partner, someone really exceptional, who she falls for in a very big way.

If anyone Welsh on confirm that many men have black or very dark brown hair and eyes?
Eg there are many that look like Liam only not as tall lol

I’m half welsh and most of my male ancestors are very dark (South Wales) almost French-looking.

I was utterly gobsmacked at Abi seeing the photo of Toby IN bed, snogging a girl and still saying, "he hasn't given me a reason to distrust him, so I won't". What part of that photo was giving her a reason to trust him?? I don't know why she isn't even talking to any of the new boys. There's no way she can like Toby that much, when it's so obvious he only used her so he didn't have to couple with Chloe.

Faye's convo with Millie (before she saw the postcard) about how she wasn't sure if Teddy was funny enough/suited for her sums up her view of Teddy. She just isn't that into him but likes him as he's a nice enough guy. I really like Teddy, think he's a decent guy and well spoken, but think Faye will choose Sam - he seems a bit more the pretty boy, cheeky chappie, laddie type she goes for. I do think she was looking for an excuse to ditch Teddy and go for Sam - as it didn't even occur to her it might have been a game where Teddy was kissing the girl. But unlike Toby or Aaron, will get away with switching partners with no backlash coz she's justified it with the postcard.

Chloe definitely has a type! But I don't see any natural chemistry between her and Dale - she seems to carry most of the convos with him. He doesn't seem as smitten with her as Toby or Hugo were. And constantly talks about how surprised he is they get on, so she wasn't his first choice. I like that he egged on Matt to talk to Caz - but I think she's still not over Tyler (had no idea she was so into him!!). The difference in how Matt makes constant eye contact with her, and looks at her when talking VS Tyler who never ever looked at her when talking or canoodling.

Tyler is an odd fish. Very low energy and doesn't seem very into any girl he's with. He always looks away and his face is so blank when they're talking. And Hugo is similar. His behaviour with all the girls is so odd. Like he's trying to be funny/bantery but coming across just rude and a bit dick-ish. By 24, given he's traveled a bit and had the sort of education that just confers a natural confidence in men, he's very awkward with girls. No charisma at all. Amy is definitely not into him - that scene where he commented on her orange outfit as she walked past, and she completely ignored him. And she looked very put off when he said he could be anything she wanted him to be... But a good move from her to get into the villa.

Disappointed with Liam especially with the previews for tonight's episode. Millie is my favourite girl so don't want to see her left standing alone!!

Jake clearly sees Liam and Millie as the biggest competition to win and so is steering Liam to move on to Lillie as this then puts them out of the running.

I see Faye and Teddy a little like Chrissie Tiegen and John Legend - I would never put them together at all but he seems besotted. He is super chill, mature and considered. She is volatile, speaks without thinking and loud.

Faye was looking for an exit - she was dropping hints saying Teddy wasn't funny. The postcard gave her permission to move on.

Teddy to me is the nicest one in there by far.

@todaysdilemma the person kissing in bed was Tyler with Clarisse. But I agree, Abi is mad to think she can trust Toby after how he treated Kaz and Chloe

Liam is the biggest disappointment. He and Millie would have won it for sure if he had stayed loyal. I think she will be very hurt. It seems so much worse as there were no red flags at all with him. She will totally be expecting him to come back in alone, having slept outside all week and then in a couple of days have the whole villa be involved in a surprise where he asks her to his girlfriend.

@Derbee Ahhhhh, thanks for clarifying! I thought that was Toby. Ok, that makes her comment a bit more understandable now but still...she should know what he's like anyway.

I think Liam will bring back Lillie, idiot. I wonder if Teddy then comes back alone and Faye is coupled up and he then chooses Millie to keep in as a friend?? They could then win it as they are much nicer than the other couples, real or not??
The singles ones don’t get chucked out after Casa amour, remember Amy ‘I was coming back to tell you I loved you’ to Curtis and she decided to just leave the villa herself next day or something, she wasn’t made to leave. Curtis was single for a while and stayed in too.

I don’t get why people keep talking about Hugo being educated. Didn’t he do PE education at Oxford Brookes? That’s a perfectly fine degree and god knows the UK needs more good PE teachers, but he’s not exactly a rocket scientist and there’s plenty of islanders with equivalent/better education (who also have social skills)

Teddy has been in the bottom of a couple of the public votes - once as an individual (when Faye was not in the bottom) and once as part of a couple. I reckon Faye is thinking that Teddy is unpopular with the public (as without Teddy she was never in the bottom) and is taking this as an opportunity to move on. She thinks she will have public sympathy based upon that photo from Casa Amour. I think she is positioning herself as an 'Amber' to go on and win with someone new....

I agree with this. However, I was thinking more that he did his PGCE at Exeter (no idea if completed), but anyone who does further education in a subject like sports teaching, for secondary schools, you'd expect to have some natural confidence and charisma. Given he was having to interact with teenagers, I'd expect him to be able to banter more easily. But the constant code switching to appear more street with the boys, and the weird negging with the girls - does not demonstrate that at all!

Recoupling is tonight! What is everyone’s predictions? I think Liam will bring back Lillie. Stupid move as they will be the first couple to be voted off.

I think it's 24 hours in advance so I assume Laura is back for the recoupling and it might be shown tomorrow?

I was just watching a clip of the Amber and K recoupling earlier and did think it would be rubbish if they are doing it by text.
