Where is the girl with the really long black hair? Her and the DJ one with short blonde hair haven’t been shown at all. Can’t remember their names.
One of the boys will take Clarissa back, I think it’ll be Tyler.
I think Teddy will stick, Toby will take back Mary, Hugo will take back Amy if Tyler picks Clarissa. I don’t even want to mention that idiots name so I won’t but I hope Lillie doesn’t get in the main villa. She isn’t a patch on Millie.
What happened to all the speeches about Millies style and loving that she was different to the other girls. I agree with a PP, Lillie is just any average girl you’d find in any club in the country.

I think portraying Black women as desirable and popular will help some women see dark skin as something of which to be proud. With colourism and skin lightening still rife, I think this is an important step that Love Island can take

I don't think the producers should keep Kaz in above anyone else but if they suspect that Tyler might return with another girl, I think it would be good if Kaz were given a heads up. However, no more so than Millie. I just don't want to see Liam's behaviour flagged and not Tyler's.

How do you propose they do that then? As a black woman I am all ears and keen to hear- I think Kaz is desirable, but her experience is the same as many of us in the real world.

Yes they should manipulate it by editing black people in an entirely positive light and ensure a black woman wins.
They are obligated to do this surely to promote diversity on tv.

Yes, he is shit stirring but the others and especially Liam could just have said 'No, thank you, I am happy with xyz' which makes me wonder if the producers have had a word and instructed them to show some interest to keep the public guessing.

Although, I feel Liam is taking it a step too far. If I was Millie aside from the fact that he looks like he is about to pie her off, I would be massively pissed off because he basically cost them 50k with his behaviour.

I think because it benefits Jake to encourage the others to stray it seems a bit shady. Of course they could say no, but some of his other actions suggest he firmly wants to win, and will do what it takes. Its like when he was in the diary room or whatever its called on love island he was very excited about the new arrivals and saying how attractive they were and his type, but more careful to not say anything in front of others that could make its way back to Lib.

Yes definitely this.
I also think Toby is portrayed as someone with special/additional needs and if this is the case, he needs to be removed. He seems so confused and befuddled.

I think Liberty is playing the game. Kaz is playing the game. Abi is playing the game. Chloe was hurt because she was humiliated. Teddy is playing a game. It’s ok not to show the Irish girls who the guys haven’t been interested in. I am tired of LI producers manipulating everything.

No-one has said that Confused. I certainly haven't. My only comment was on making sure Kaz has the same opportunities to see her partner's behaviour as Millie.

@Noterook I'm just thinking that having a dark skinned girl in Love Island (the same one) for as long as possible may promote a different image of beauty and so make some young women feel more comfortable in their own skin. One person won't change the world but helping to build towards a critical mass might.

She very likely will. The time they sent the postcard there were 4/5 pics on it. I remember one of Kem kissing a girl and Marcel in bed with someone. Why do you think it'll be any different this time and just one picture?

I know this isn’t to me, but surely the answer is because they aren’t doing anything interesting.

I think some folks are confused about the purpose of love island. It’s a game show, where the edited highlights are shown every evening and anything with the most drama is shown. That’s it. All contestants treated equally, if you’re not doing anything interesting you don’t get air time.

I thought Hugo was so rude about Kaila in the diary room! 'I didn't get to share a bed with the girl I wanted'. And not a nice word for the girl he did share with, even if he had nothing romantic to say.

I'm very surprised Abi is being this loyal to toby. I hope she is just not wanting to jump in straight away. She can't honestly believe he will do the same.

And yes, Lillie isn't a patch on Millie.

I’m also surprised at abis naivety, the whole “Toby and I fought so hard to get to this stage” thing was an eye brow raiser, she fought hard, sure, but for Toby she was just an exit card from Chloe as he had realised he wasn’t going to win with her.

I can’t decide if it’s total arrogance and she thinks he really did dump Chloe because he was so besotted with her, or she’s totally naive and deluded.

Lillie’s hair and body are attractive. I hate the brows and teeth although they are popular. Before going in, Jake was her number one choice.
I think I forget Liam is 20 as he looks so much older.

Every year in casa amor you always get a couple who are barely shown, I swear they always put in one or two who they know won’t turn any heads to make numbers.

If Liam and Millie split then I hope Millie will be able to find someone else in the villa and possibly win, a bit like Amber a couple of years ago.
