The reason Hugo doesn’t want any of the girls who have shown an interest in him so far is because he needs to feel like he ‘won’ something IMO. If Georgia hadn’t said what she did and had shown an interest in some of the other lads and Hugo had to graft her a bit I think it would be a different story. Hugo wants a girl that someone else potentially wants, not one sent in with only eyes for him. He needs to feel like he’s got a fucking prize 🤮

I think they should’ve kept Georgia and sent in two new boys, she didn’t get a chance, it was either go for Hugo or split up another couple and she definitely wasn’t the man eater type like Abi and it would be so much better for the young girls watching to see someone with no cosmetic surgery do well rather than be rejected within hours of entering.

Toby's reaction was horrible, he has zero empathy and has learnt nothing about how to treat people, was just worried about being shown up and becoming even less popular. I think hugo did the right thing in speaking up. Abigail is a real smirker too, she isn't coming across very well to me.

If a newbie can't break up an established couple within a day then they get dumped! Ridiculous. They should be in there for at least 5 days to give them a crack of the whip and to forge relationships with all the islanders so that some might choose to keep them in just because they prefer them to their old mates. At this rate it will just be couples coasting safely to a straight popularity contest at the end.

I am surprised Faye and Kaz appear to be in Tobys side. They will make themselves look very bitchy and it will divide the girls again. I also can't see Fayes fella (his name escapes me) putting up with drama from her about this!

I absolutely agree with this, completely.

Part of me wonders if the producers feel everyone they've shipped over and had in isolation/quarantine needs to at least get through the front door, but it just isn't working.

No fun, no showing us the developing friendships or relationships.There's not even the proper game being played. Newbies usually have at least 3/4 days, sometimes longer. Now it's like a revolving door and has become so predictable.

I dislike more of them than I like this year.

If you recall back when Kaz was coupled with Toby.. and Chloe made her very blatant public move for him...

Faye and Chloe had a screaming over the decking type thing over Kaz's upset... remember Sharon walked away... and told them what was occurring..

they did cleared the air but I think Faye and Kaz held that grudge... and now they will support Abi and Toby being together.. Kaz has the new guy Faye has Teddy...

In the past the newbie had the power and would choose to couple up with. This season it seems like they want to keep the original group and they are just in for a day or two to test their loyalty. It's bizarre as they are the most boring group they've ever had.

I said the same thing a week for newbies. Why bother at all otherwise.
It was too forced with Tyler and Kaz and Abi and Toby, we needed to see a few days of natural bonding with everyone. Also first impressions often change after a week anyway.
You often like someone for 2 weeks then see an other side of them.

I think I would rather see them all sitting round in a group doing truth or dare rather than can I have a chat, as it just feels fake.

When everyone is in a group you notice who chats to who, or who tries to flirt with certain people, or eye contact and touching. Its way more interesting.

Hugo was quite clear when he picked Sharon that it was a friendship couple, and to give her more time in the villa to meet someone.

He sounded as if he was actually interested in Chloë. It might even be interesting to see how these rwo are as a couple.

I'm not wild at the prospect of Toby Ssulking and Faye being given time to be the Greek chorus.

I also don't think Teddy is that in to Faye. I think his head wouid very easily be turned.
