To those saying Hugo was wrong because he said what he said in front of the others and had never said it to Toby before:

1. He did. He told Toby he couldn't have his cake and eat it, and the others shut him up.

2. He didn't know that Toby was going to pick Abi beforehand.

3. He was obviously angered by seeing how humiliating it was for Chloe.

It was so ironic last night when Toby was whinging that he would never leave anyone looking stupid at a recoiling like Huge had him, when Toby did worse to Chloe!

I really dislike these claims about Tyler not being into Kaz. Everything he has done suggests otherwise, and to assume he doesn't like her smacks too much of the same reasoning behind the black girl ALWAYS getting picked last in the initial coupling - an unconscious racial bias in determining how attractive someone is.

He knew kaz was into him and he played her, and then moved to Chloe as he thought she was more popular and he preferred her

He totally played Chloe, as soon as they were voted one of the least compatible he revealed he was playing a game by saying they were fucked

When they were in the least popular it was game over, he wanted to dump her and proceeded to ignore her and talk to abi

He took the chance at recoupling to bin her off, thinking she’d be sent home and he get rid. He knew full well how much Chloe liked him.

Hugo and Chloe are obvs good friends, we only see it an hour a day, many of them habe commented on it, and I suspect Hugo fancies her. He simply called Toby out on his shit treatment of Chloe and previously kaz,

As much as I’m not a fan of any of the three of them I just can’t see how Toby is the good guy in this, he’s treating the women like shit, and Hugo did right to call him out on it and Chloe is clearly gutted.

He’s not even that into abi, he simply wanted rid of Chloe, like he wanted rid of kaz, because he thought he couldn’t win with them and used both girls. Even his wording “you’re jist a girl follower” used as a put down shows he’s a mygosynistic piece of shit who thinks boys should stick together and women are second class and disposable.

As said, I’m no fan of Hugo. But can’t see how Toby is the better guy for treating the women like shit and Hugo the bad guy for calling him out on it in that scenario, I’d have done the same and stronger.

I’m worried for Lucinda and Aaron. Jiberty and Milliam got loads of exposure on that episode, and Kaz and Tyler had their recent kiss. Hugo and Faye are both very popular so they and their couples are probably safe. Lucinda and Aaron have barely featured, so I can’t see them attracting enough votes.

I think he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps I'm a very inexperienced Love Island watcher but I can't believe Abi and consequently Toby have done anything that's not happened on the show 100s of times before (remember Chloe??). What's different this time is that he received a lecture on it from a jumped up little prick who is only still in there ... well God know's why.

But that doesn’t make it right. Just because someone else was treated like shit before doesn’t mean it’s ok to treat others like shit.

His actions are the right things, but maybe a bit to perfect? His body language on the other hand shows he's not interested, at the recoupling when Kaz sat beside him, he looked miles away and so disinterested. I hope I am wrong though, Kaz deserves someone nice

This is what I was going to say. I don’t know if Tyler is genuine or not, but this is Love Island , most of these ‘relationships’ are not genuine. However, it is as though some posters are deliberately looking for behaviours to prove that Tyler is not attracted to the black girl. Kaz is an attractive girl and most probably receives a lot of attention outside the house from men of all races. It is just that they type of men who usually enter Love Island are not open to dating black women because they have a narrow dating outlook.

Bringing race into it to insist it is, is boring. Rachel way way more attractive. There are loads of black men in it. Kaz does not have sex appeal, her constant shrieking is irritating and her morning look is not good to say the least.

Jake and the bracelet was cringeworthy. All preplanned and the timing was to take the spotlight off Millie and Liam. I think Liam is more into Millie and I hope what they have is real and Millie isn’t playing him. They look the most genuine couple.

I'm team Toby. He isn't the fastest thinker, his not really a strategist, he doesn't come up with clever or convincing replies very quickly.

What is he supposed to do when a new girl asks him if he wants to go for a chat? Say "No!"? Do a Hugo on her? Chloe was raging within 5 minutes and she ended it. True, of course she doesn't have to sit around waiting or do the pick me dance, but if she'd handled it better I think Toby might have made a different choice.

What are the new people supposed to do if they want to stay in the villa? They don't have time to hang about making friends. They have to get someone in there to couple up with them. I don't like the coldness of the girls towards Abi and I'm dismayed at some of the comments about her looks on this thread tbh.

Georgia being booted out was fine. None of the boys were interested, nor she them, least of all Hugo and it would have been batshit for Hugo to keep someone he’d know two days and didn’t fancy over Chloe. Who he is close to, has known a month and likely fancies..

He probably is a fuckboy and Kaz may not be his ‘type’ but there was almost an expectation that a man such as Tyler would not be interested in Kaz Bringing race into is is not ‘boring’ and I think it is wrong to shutdown any mention of race just because it makes us uncomfortable. I am white, but I am aware that some black women despair of how black women are represented on LI and do believe that there is bias. Rachel herself has intimated that she was unhappy with the fact that those who did the casting did not cast men who were open to relationships with black women.
