@PumpkinKlNG same here re. Liam & Millie. The whole chemistry thing at the start was so forced, I can't see past it! Liam is very awkward.

when do the public votes affect the evictions.. because this is so frustrating ... 😩

PumpkinKlNG · 23/07/2021 23:53

Yeh I just don’t like Liam for some reason, I’m sure Millie is nice and she seems it but I just really can’t stand Liam! Glad it’s not just me.

The thing with Toby and Chloe I just think for me I think they did something in the hide away? Liam and Millie haven’t so I do think it’s disrespectful to then go oh well I’m open to getting to know the new girl and I will decide who I prefer Hmm

AngeloMysterioso · 24/07/2021 00:02

I’ve probably said it before, but I’m getting so tired of all the thong bikinis. I’ve seen more of Abi’s bare arse in the last 2 days than I’ve seen of my own all year!

the Millie Liam date seemed...

woefully bland 😳

🤣😂 I know right ...

PumpkinKlNG · 24/07/2021 00:04

I was saying that the other day, I’m sick of seeing bums on the screen 😂

NoLongerWantHugoToWin · 24/07/2021 00:43

@Bluntness100

Abi doesn’t give a fuck, and Hugo was literally telling Chloe to date him…

I really dislike Tobys comment on girl follower. Made it sounds like he thinks boys should stick together and girls are second class citizens,

That's exactly how Toby views women.
QueenBee52 · 24/07/2021 00:45

Chloe's really showing who she is... and it's not very nice 😳

Chicchicchicchiclana · 24/07/2021 01:51

I'm team Toby. He isn't the fastest thinker, his not really a strategist, he doesn't come up with clever or convincing replies very quickly.

What is he supposed to do when a new girl asks him if he wants to go for a chat? Say "No!"? Do a Hugo on her? Chloe was raging within 5 minutes and she ended it. True, of course she doesn't have to sit around waiting or do the pick me dance, but if she'd handled it better I think Toby might have made a different choice.

What are the new people supposed to do if they want to stay in the villa? They don't have time to hang about making friends. They have to get someone in there to couple up with them. I don't like the coldness of the girls towards Abi and I'm dismayed at some of the comments about her looks on this thread tbh.

3 of the 5 most recent newcomers have been dumped. It's impossible. The game doesn't work and the format doesn't work.

I want Hugo and Chloe OUT asap please.

Yip ... yes.. agreed 😁

CeeceeBloomingdale · 24/07/2021 06:41

Casa Amor is normally the best bit but I'm not at all invested in any of the couples so I don't really have the anticipation to see who comes back with someone else. I like Liberty and Millie but not really keen on their couplings. I go from hating Faye to quite liking her and back again. I like Teddy but not with Faye. I can't even remember who else is coupled, that's how boring it is.

CarpyDiem · 24/07/2021 07:18

I think Teddy and Faye will both pick someone new (assuming they survive the vote)

Liberty/Jake and Liam/Mille are both likely to stay intact.

Chloe will find someone else, but Hugo probably won't

Kaz won't, and I think Tyler probably won't either

Abi will, Toby could go either way - wants to show he isn't a serial dumper, but also knows Abi is too new to be sure of

Aaron won't, but Lucinda may well do (assuming they stay)

Bluntness100 · 24/07/2021 08:11

I don’t get how anyone can be on team Toby

He knew kaz was into him and he played her, and then moved to Chloe as he thought she was more popular and he preferred her

He totally played Chloe, as soon as they were voted one of the least compatible he revealed he was playing a game by saying they were fucked

When they were in the least popular it was game over, he wanted to dump her and proceeded to ignore her and talk to abi

He took the chance at recoupling to bin her off, thinking she’d be sent home and he get rid. He knew full well how much Chloe liked him.

Hugo and Chloe are obvs good friends, we only see it an hour a day, many of them habe commented on it, and I suspect Hugo fancies her. He simply called Toby out on his shit treatment of Chloe and previously kaz,

As much as I’m not a fan of any of the three of them I just can’t see how Toby is the good guy in this, he’s treating the women like shit, and Hugo did right to call him out on it and Chloe is clearly gutted.

He’s not even that into abi, he simply wanted rid of Chloe, like he wanted rid of kaz, because he thought he couldn’t win with them and used both girls. Even his wording “you’re jist a girl follower” used as a put down shows he’s a mygosynistic piece of shit who thinks boys should stick together and women are second class and disposable.

As said, I’m no fan of Hugo. But can’t see how Toby is the better guy for treating the women like shit and Hugo the bad guy for calling him out on it in that scenario, I’d have done the same and stronger.

The complete lack of eye contact from Tyler with Caz was painful to watch. He doesn't fancy her in the slightest. He definitely has no interest in her at and will find someone else in casa amor. I hope she does too and doesn't wait for him!

I think Toby is getting a bad rap because he isn't as articulate or shrewd as the others. He liked caz and tried to give it time to work but it just wasn't. You can't force chemistry and all the boys (including Hugo) told him to give up on it. He always has and still does fancy Chloe but her personality is hard for him to take: she was constantly needing attention and validation and exploding at the smallest infraction, always criticising his age and lack of experience. He was aware enough to know that liking someone doesn't mean you're compatible. They even agreed they couldn't communicate. He kept trying to have conversations with Chloe but she'd flounce off the minute he said the wrong thing.

I don't think he likes Abi as much but didn't want to choose Chloe and give her false hope. If he was a game player he would have stuck with Chloe knowing how flip flippers are perceived. Hugo had a hidden agenda with that speech and that saving. Blaming Toby for Georgia leaving??? He didn't have to pick a friend to couple up with, he could have picked Georgia to try to get to know her , or give her an opportunity, thinking if Chloe was genuinely distraught over Toby, she should go home.

Also Toby was right, if you're 'family' you don't embarrass them publicly, that is not nice guy behaviour. Unfortunately, Hugo stays in because many women confuse being educated and well spoken and not chasing girls as 'nice'. No one knows what he's actually like with a girl - the brief glimpse with Sharon, he was like Toby. Hated confrontation so left her to figure out he wasn't interested.

thedarkling · 24/07/2021 08:26

@FGTR3

Hugo is too much for me. “You need to get with someone nice” ha ha. In your dreams Hugo lad !
Every man I've ever met who has described himself as 'nice' has been creepy as fuck. 'Hey, girls should go for me as I'm a nice guy but they prefer bad boys - I hate girls.'
Willwebebuyingnumber11 · 24/07/2021 08:30

Well said @Bluntness100

Oh cmon, that’s not how she behaved, and he was perfectly happy with Chloe until they were voted in the bottom three, then he basically pulled out, It was hardly a coincidence. 😂

EsmeraldasTambourine · 24/07/2021 08:44

We'll hellooooo Jack 😍

TellingBone · 24/07/2021 08:46

Liking Teddy more and more as time goes on. Seems mature with a quietly confident air about him. I'd match him with Millie, who gives off similar vibes, rather than Faye.

While I like Faye and her one-liners she does seem to have assumed the role of head girl. It's quite at odds with her self-confessed lack of self confidence in her looks [is it just the telly that makes her lip-liner look awful?]. I don't think there's anyone to suit her in the current crop. She does seem to be constantly 'testing' Teddy with her barbed comments to him and a less confident guy would walk I think. I'd like to see Faye meet her match at Casa Amor.

Liam I think has become more likeable since he's been with Millie - as he said at the recoupling he's not used to being the one 'punching'.

ChatterMonkey · 24/07/2021 08:48

Hugo is coming across like the creepy friend who refuses to accept that hes been friendzoned. Chloe has been pretty clear that shes not interested, the longer he continues pursuing, the worse he'll come across. Its like hes not prepared to be told no.

Toby is totally playing a game, but is too stupid to do it well. Jumped ship from kaz to chloe as all the boys picked chloe as the person they would recouple with in that game, so assumed she would be more popular outside as well. But didnt realise the affect him ditching caz for chloe would have on his public opinion. Then when he realises that no one likes him and chloe, he jumps ship again, but still cant figure out that him doing that is going to make the public like him even less.

I think Jake is game playing as well. He wasn't convinced when he was first coupled with liberty, and i think he was hoping for someone to come in in the early days who would go after him and he could end things before it got too serious. But its gone on too long now so his only real chance in the competition is to stay with Lib and try and do the whole tommy and molly mae thing. He knows what he needs to do to get the public behind him, so is just doing that rather than having any real feelings. Hes constantly asking Lib if shes getting feelings etc, and then laughing, but offers no reply?? So she just gets all awkward, says shes falling for him, he laughs and then thats the end of the convo?? Why isnt she asking him the same question back and forcing him to answer??

todaysdilemma · 24/07/2021 08:53

@Bluntness100 Were we watching the same show? He was upset they were in the bottom as anyone would be because he couldn't understand why the public voted the way they did. He is sensitive and takes any criticism to heart as was obvious everytime Chloe raged at him for being 'too young' for her or 'too inexperienced'. He even called her out on it getting upset she kept saying it. Even Faye commented on how sensitive he is but doesn't have words to express it.

Chloe was 'livid' because he was upset about the voting instead of understanding he's an analyser who was trying to figure out why. I too would have reacted as he did - because it feels you're being penalised for 'following your heart'. It would be a huge red flag for me if I couldn't even feel upset about a bad vote without my partner raging about it to the whole house and making it about her. She got livid and had a melt down with actual tears when he didn't talk to her one morning. Would you want to stay with someone who cried and made a scene over every minor perceived insult? If sexes were reversed we'd be saying she's manipulative with the tears and emotionally abusive with the criticisms of him. If he irritates you to the point of rage so much in just 2 weeks, why are you with him?????

It was pretty obvious their personalities were not a match. They BOTH agreed they couldn't communicate. Why would we expect a couple who cannot communicate to stay together? Why did she want to stay with a man who's personality annoys her? To me she just didn't like the rejection, because she knew deep down he was right, they would never work. And he was genuinely surprised she was this upset because no one would think she liked him given how much about him annoyed her.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 24/07/2021 09:12

I think he was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps I'm a very inexperienced Love Island watcher but I can't believe Abi and consequently Toby have done anything that's not happened on the show 100s of times before (remember Chloe??). What's different this time is that he received a lecture on it from a jumped up little prick who is only still in there ... well God know's why.
