Just caught up on last nights episode. Lucindas reaction came across as completely disingenuous. She’s young, and comes across as younger than she is so ill give her the benefit of the doubt in terms of what/how she said it, but if she’d just been honest with Brad and said ‘I’m not ready to leave’ instead of giving lip service to them leaving together it would’ve come across a lot better and would’ve been honest. Everyone knows she’s there to try and get exposure and an inevitable PLT/Boohoo collaboration and there’s nothing wrong with that; it’s an excellent platform if that’s your cup of tea; Brad knew that and accepted that, that’s why he said he can go back to doing what he was doing and it’ll mean a ‘bigger opportunity’ for her. And massive kudos to him for not even trying to stand in her way for that.
I thought the way Brad handled the whole thing was excellent. It completely changed my mind on him to be honest. He didn’t hesitate, and put her before himself. The way the others reacted made me think the producers edit of him had been less than kind…I hope he makes some decent money off the back of the series.
Faye needs to wind her neck in. None of her business. And leave the blimmin’ brown lipstick alone, it’s awful.
Chloe is doing my head in. Not only the rapidly changing accents and constant hair flicking - LEAVE THE HAIR ALONE!!!! - but having such a massive cob on about being in the bottom three. Toby comes across as such a child, I really don’t get the attraction.
But yay for Kaz and Aaron and Millie and Liam. I like Kaz and Aaron’s friendship couple, they seem to have an easy and natural connection, kind of like Amber and Ovie. And Millie has really grown on me. I like how them two have such a genuine and obvious attraction to each other in a way that’s not apparent with any of the others; the way Liam hoiked her up around his waist when they got into the hideaway; oof. They might not last, but they’re genuinely drawn to each other and that’s what this is all meant to be about!
