Tennis: Wimbledon Week 1

I'm more disappointed that Dan lost than Andy as I had high hopes for him. Oh well, Norrie today. I think he could win. He's had a great year. Also, Emma is playing. I've not seen her play yet so that should be fun.

I watched Emma's last game, she was on fantastic form. She's very athletic and has a great game. I'm looking forward to watch her play again.

Matteo's match has not long started- and the rain has started already.

Some great matches today- was looking forward to this Berrettini match. Daniil and Marin (though I want both to win that). Taylor Fritz and Sascha could be a good tussle- and sadly for Felix AA, he is playing Kyrgios. I think he has the right mental attitude to just ignore Nick's antics though.

I hope Barty gets through. She's my favourite to win now.

It should be a good day. But unfortunately the weather could play a big part.

Looking at the weather forecast I don't think there will be much play on the outside courts today. I wonder if they will need to play tomorrow to catch up? When would they make that decision though?

When was the mixed doubles which is on bbc 2 played. It's obviously a repeat because it's pissing down with rain

Amdone it's a shame for Dan definitely, especially after that good win against Lopez - he was looking really confident after that.

I don't know who I want to win of Cilic or Medvedev either Raahh. I'm a fan girl of both of those two

Emma and Cirstea look almost exactly the same. I think Wimbledon needs to make them wear different hats.

Emma has Nike shoes, Cirstea New Balance so that's how I'm going to tell them apart.

Have also noticed Cirstea has massive strapping on her leg. Eyes like a hawk, me.

Matteo is 2 sets up, which is good. As are Sonego and Hurkacz. I expected a closer match from Bublik.

Ostapenko in a bit of trouble- 1 set all, and 2-0 down in the 3rd.
