Well, since ITV aren't doing it anymore (I think it will be Eurosport only- possibly Prime?)- this is the last we will hear of John at the tennis.

Djokovic is actually v good at applauding the opposition if they make an outstanding shot (he applauded Tsitsipas when he saved his set point ) ...but that's not really enough to make me like him.

Grouchy they probably do- but he won't be doing RG again. .
I know he was dropped by Wimbledon after the Bartoli furore- but I'm not sure if he's back.

I switched over to Eurosport a few minutes ago, I think it's Miles Maclagan and Chris Bradnam commentating. They mentioned Delpo almost as soon as I switched over, so I'll stick with them

It's really grey here- but still warm.
It was meant to be sunny.

Private he's been practicing, hasn't he, Delpo? That positive. it would be great to see him back.

I don't think Friday will have physically taken that much from him- he has played much longer matches, later into the night- and come back.

Mentally though- that's another thing.

Back to the coal face of blanket joining , now I have had a cup of tea .
I do wonder if the commentators go to a special school to learn to spout such rubbish ( ITV3 here - Mark Petchy , and someone else )

It’s quite cloudy here as well! I’ve just realised that England are winning 1-0 in the footy (feel like I’m the only person watching tennis - apart from you lot of course!)

I don’t really like watching Djok play tennis and I just don’t warm to him as a person - he doesn’t seem very genuine and has some strange views - I’m just not a fan! The cringe celebration and the shouting are annoying as well.

Don’t feel as if I can relax yet although Stef is playing really well - I’ve just realised I should have been in Greece this week (had to make do with the British seaside instead - not quite the same!) I’ve got some olives for the Greek vibe (no ouzo though!)
