I got confused- because i have got so used to taking an hour off the times shown on the tennis schedules over the past few weeks- that i thought the Sinner match started at 11am- not actually 12.
Halle has started though, on Prime- Goffin was doing well - but is clearly in a lot of pain with his ankle. He's a set up - first set was easy- but the second is going to a tie break, probably.
Oh -and now he has retired 
kazza I did wonder about when exactly Stef found out- I doubt he would have been able to play the way he did in the first 2 sets, had he known? And presumably Apostolos would have also known then- would he have been able to sit through that match, knowing his mother had just died?
Very sad for the family. They all seem very close. But Stef will have many more chances to honour her memory.
Not surprisingly, have taken a wild card a couple of days ago, Stef has withdrawn from Halle.
