Never heard about this until tonight. I’m not a binge watcher but I’ve watched series 1 and what’s already dropped of series 2 . Love it. A bit twee , maybe not real but the characters are enchanting . Especially Emelda Staunton .
My usual go to programs include Motherland, FleaBag, Mum. So if you like them, you might like Trying .
Any one else watching it ?

I know it’s none of our business, I hate having an opinion based on a Daily Fail/Sun article, but really can’t help judging them both😵‍💫 My original point was about how hard it must be having an actor as a partner, how the chemistry they have with an on-screen character spills over into real life and I suppose there’s nothing you can do about it?

This surprised me considering what Rafe said in the past about settling down and having kids marriage, wife.

I just started watching this - binge watched and about to watch series 4.
The main characters did have great on screen chemistry and I just googled and they are expecting a baby together.

Loved this week’s episode, cried like a baby during the exchange between Nicky and Princess. Doesn’t matter if your child is biological or not, you put them way before your own needs.

Not sure if I could forgive a sibling for doing the things Karen has done really. Great writing.

I'm really enjoying this BUT finding the financial liberties really distracting. I know this has always been the case with sitcoms, but because finances are such a pivotal part of the plot it's a bit annoying! English language tutor and customer assistant can afford to live in a large flat in Camden, can't afford to move to a 3 bed so happy to play the financial card for that part of the storyline, and yet the episode I've just watched he's now going to quit his job to stay home (only part way through season 3)...I know sitcoms are allowed a little financial fluidity but I'm finding a bit annoying in this series tbh!
