I actually like Jacob. He played a blinder with all that maya stuff and proved he can handle big storylines. I think he’ll be good with this one.

All the soaps were better years ago. The difference between classic and current is shocking.

Jacob is such a misery even when nothing bad is happening. I fail to remember him smiling once. He has always looked as though he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Perhaps he has! Far too much strife for such a young man. Hopefully he won't be accused or suspected of killing Leanna. It would be awful.

As an actor I don't rate him at all. He should stick to ice skating. He was fab at that!

Well @ClairKingston I guess Jacob does have the weight of the world on his shoulders. He found out his auntie was actually his mum, his mum was sexually assaulted by his friend, he was groomed and abused by his dad's girlfriend and his girlfriend has just been killed. I'm sure there must be more. He plays his part well!

Yes I get all that. He has had much more than his fair share of woes but I can not remember him ever being a happy boy even when younger. Maybe he was at some point in his past. He just irritates me anyway. Soaps are full of miserable people.

I used to like Sean but now he is just an idiot. At least Peter is back! Thankful for small mercies.

I wonder whether Noah spotted anything when he was following Gabby.

Was it Noah in the bushes though? I thought it could have been Meena hiding after killing Leanna.

He told Gabby it was him because he was worried about her walking alone.

I'm sure I mentioned Jacob's 'smile' on an old thread. He sort of hoiks his face up like it's on scaffolding and does a fake teeth show while the upper part of his face remains static. I'm sure he thinks he looks endearing.

Is Leyla's marriage over almost before it's begun? Doesn't augur well when your new husband tells you to go away when you offer support.

I don't get how david and Jacob were out looking all night but didn't see her......it's literally around the corner!

I thought last night was quite well done in general. It’s always difficult to get the death of a young person right, as even the world’s best actor would struggle to portray how a parent would react to that.

God I sobbed at last nights. I can totally see why he just wanted to get to leanna it's always been the two of them against the world really. He did an excellent job.
