@eggandonion I live very rural and this is The Best Restaurant that's closeish to us (closeish is within 10 miles!)

I had... baked goats cheese with caramelised hazelnut dust, pickled shallots and lemon zest
followed by.... slow roasted pork belly with roasted turnips and dauphinois potatoes and other bits.

OMG it was delicious, partly because I'm sick to death of cooking and my DH is only good at eggs.

Oh and half a pannacotta!

Poor Sam - Ground Control to Major Tom would have been a better tune for the poor ickle lad, he's suffering enough without channelling his inner Kate Bush.
The Golden Girls, especially her who was married to Sean Bean in real life (how, just how is that fair?) are wearing a bit thin. But not as thin as Sharon, - a sharp breeze on the corner and she'd be a goner.

Yes poor Sam is in a van, far from anywhere. For one moment Gary almost hijacked the van and man, to take a wardrobe to the dump. I'm hoping the registration number of the van will be on a CCTV, and Gary will recall the telescope in the back.
I am so madly jealous of people going out for dinner, and I would like roast turnip. I love root vegetables. My dd1 who lives in a big city has four bookings for dinner in June, she gets her second vaccine next week.

I thought Ryan and Alya lived somewhere else but I don't know where. The young people, anyone under 40, seem to live in flats over shops, or a very posh apartment. Beyond that I have no idea.

Wasn't he ailing because he wasn't taking his medication in prison? Or wasn't on the right dose or something?

Seems like the drug baron storyline is approaching a conclusion. Thank the Lord for that. More day to day stuff please writers. That's the strength of Corra.

Ahh I thought the sight loss was because his MS was progressing. Didnt realise it was just a medication thing.

I think he stopped taking the meds because his deterioration was making him see his dead son and he didn’t want to stop seeing him.
