I think Amber did briefly appear after disappearing off to uni- she came back for the holidays and Sunita acted like this was totally ridiculous (obviously subscribed to the usual Corrie theory that once you disappear to uni you never come back) and was horrible to her and made her really unwelcome. It then turned out that she had dropped out of uni I think, but I can't remember what happened after that!

Amber was a good character. She was interesting without resorting to sleeping with other people's boyfriends or committing petty crimes.

It's embarrassing, and grim stereotyping.

It annoys me as well that the whole Alina fancying Tyrone has even happened, he’s just skipped out on his marriage/ home/ kids and she’s prancing around giving him come to bed eyes and making him egg sandwiches, why is she being written as such a wet blanket? It’s just not believable that she’d fancy him.

She certainly does a lot of pouting that girl.

Fizz totally gets on my wick - I feel no sympathy for her at all. She had a great couple of scenes a while ago, but has reverted back to shouty and irrational, which is a shame.

It really annoyed me that Ty was originally angry with Alina for the eyelashes but the promise of sex meant all was forgiven.
