If I ran a hospital I would be kicking everyone out on a regular basis. It’s an 8h op mim come back in 8 hours or better we ring you after the op and you can come in the next day. I can’t see how it benefits anyone having half family mop around for days not eating sleeping or showing when their loved when is in under sedation.

Jack was born September 2010 (just had to check that!) so I think he’ll be in Year 6 this September.

I've just had an operation, covid test 3 days before then isolate, another covid test when getting to hospital and no visitors. Maybe things are different for a transplant though when they don't have much notice.
