I think the reason why we don't see churches and funerals is because of Covid - everything is shot on set, to keep the actors/team in as much of a bubble as possible.
What a couple of cracking episodes! Are the writers (to coin a favourite MN phrase) on glue??
Speaking of shot on set...I want a taser so much!!! How have I not got one???? I will have to have a look on Amazon in a minute, it'll come in well handy with my bottom set Year 9s next week (have that back row boys). Failing that, I'm going to order one of Sam's telescopes - and thwack them over the head with it. That'll get them to stop sneaking on their phones instead of reading their poetry. Yes, sorted at last. Soph's behaviour management is finally done and dusted.
Rita looks very frail I thought. Who cares (apart from Peter) about Carla's knickers? And Johnny, suddenly a paragon of virtue. Jenny get shot of him, move Ronnie in to your boudoir, make cocktails, have fun, burn his bacon, fry his eggs sunny side up - you go girl.
Poor Abi. Don't do it girl, don't smash the bottle and slash his artery with the ragged edge - you'll end up inside, and we need you in the Street, cos you can properly act, you can.
Love Nina and Roy.
Maria and Gary - meh. She'll have him back now, all is forgiven, she luffs him after all. Then next week he'll let himself down and we'll be back to woe-is-me again.
Laters - Amazon awaits...
