Rob is planning to retire?
He is acting really odd and rude. it's not very Rob-like.

I actually found the way Rob was acting towards Karen today frightening, it seemed reminiscent of a domestic violence storyline. I don't know what's got into him, perhaps his PTSD is playing up? And I also feel like there is going to be a major storyline with Sid's friend. I like Valerie and Nathan together, she deserves a happy one even though she did treat Barry dreadfully!

I agree, @smallandimperfectlyformed - it's more than just being a bit grumpy and irritable isn't it? Poor Gobby.

I definitely think something will happen to Sid's friend- can't see a point to the storyline, otherwise (though, since when have Doctors plots needed a point ).

Hi. Been away for a while but really want to talk about Rob's behaviour. I just hope he's not having an affair. I was kind of hoping all this overtime meant he was saving up for a nice surprise for Karen - I think he owes her a cruise - but he was downright abusive today

Possibly the PTSD returning, or facing his own mortality. He must be due to retire, but maybe he can't face it.

My ex was a copper, watching Rob yesterday struck a chord with me..... My ex was like this at the end of our marriage when he started seeing OW. I found it hard to watch.
