Just noticed the old thread was nearly full.

I have missed the last couple so am catching up quickly.
I remember Leslie Ash in Holby- but it must have been about 10/11 years ago, because I'm sure I was pg, or dd2 was only a baby.

And Sid drinking too much made about as much sense as Val drinking too much the other week. I.e no sense at all.

Raahh · 09/06/2021 17:51

The acting really is awful.

Raahh · 09/06/2021 17:55

Harriet- stop barking.

Raahh · 09/06/2021 17:56

I do feel sorry for Gobby though.

EversoDelighted · 09/06/2021 20:40

Just catching up, my Sky box has been playing up. Couldn't work out who the woman was in Monday's episode.

Didn't recognise Leslie Ash. She has suffered so many health problems over the years Sad. The gravestones look amazingly cheap and fake even for Doctors.

Well, I don't like the way the Rob story is playing out, nor the Sid one. I get that Sid is grieving for his friend, that his family are dysfunctional and that his love life is more or less non-existent but I do hope he's not going to spiral downwards any further.

As for Rob, yes Gobby can be annoying but please don't throw away 30 years of marriage for a fling you are better than that.

I caught up on yeaterday's earlier. I don't buy Sid going off the rails so quickly really, he's too 'goody goody'.

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:48

And I don't like the Rob storyline either- they are being so obvious about it, that I hope it doesn't happen -or ends up all in Harriet's head.

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:49

Would cardiac screening for young fit people not be expensive?

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:50

x post with Al - the accountant Grin.

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:50

Davey is nice.

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:52

This will come back to bite you, if you don't prepare, Al.

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 10/06/2021 13:54

The gardening boss' Brummie accent is a bit OTT.

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 10/06/2021 13:55

I'm so far out of the loop! Is the mardy nurse still in it? Was it Ayesha?

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:58

Teenagers.

doctorsnoddy · 10/06/2021 13:59

Sigh - Sid's initiative will cost in terms of time staff and opportunity costs. That in a practice with no patients!

Raahh · 10/06/2021 13:59

Oh, Ayesha left a while back- got herself a swanky job.

The new nurse is Luca- he's staying with Emma.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 10/06/2021 14:01

Ayesha left a while ago, she got a promotion and now works for an international charity dealing with malaria prevention. I liked her sometimes but the fallout from her mothers death took ages to play out and I was fed up of hearing about it!!

Raahh · 10/06/2021 14:01

doctor that's what I thought- admirable idea- but in practice, testing otherwise healthy people with no underlying conditions, seems a very expensive idea.

What has Al been up to?

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 10/06/2021 14:02

The teenager and mum are so bad. Where do they get these 'actors' from?

Raahh · 10/06/2021 14:03

Plus- will there be any patients to test Grin

doctorsnoddy · 10/06/2021 14:03

Raahh these things tend to be funded as an enhanced service to help pay for these things

Raahh · 10/06/2021 14:04

Zara can't really say anything...

Raahh · 10/06/2021 14:05

doctors that's interesting. It must be a juggling act all the time, deciding what to spend money on.

Raahh · 10/06/2021 14:09

Bear looks very Rupert today.
