It has been great, Private he has shown real guts- I just hope the break when the crowd leave doesn't have an effect (because they will, soon).

Yes, Djok will have had a tougher match. I know it won't really mean much- he's used to the crowd being against him. He will re-set tomorrow a though tonight didn't happen.

But it has been a great match. And Sonego can hold his head high.

Not that he has lost yet Grin.

And Italian tennis is in a very healthy state. Bodes well for things like Davis Cup/Olympics etc.

i really don't get how he can play on clay in contacts.

When I wore contacts, I could never go near anywhere remotely sandy for fear of getting anything in my eyes.

Well, I'm glad Djok has spent so long on court today (cheers, Lorenzo) because they kept making a big thing of how long Rafa's matches have been- but he has definitely had the harder draw.

It was a great match- Sonego did really well- his dancing was great- and at least the crowd didn't have to leave.

Djok didn't have it all his way.
