Tales of Weatherfield continued...

Tbf Roy has always challenged behaviour he doesn’t find appropriate so it is in keeping with his character. The only bit that’s different is that for some reason he never challenged Evelyn before despite her being one of the nastier characters.

lavenderandwisteria · 12/05/2021 20:31

Thank you!

Please let my baby sleep now!

Roussette · 12/05/2021 20:34

Well... Roy being married to Hayley has always been this way. That's why Nina and him are such a good fit as Uncle/niece

FromHereToModernity · 12/05/2021 20:35

Roy and Evelyn are proper actors. I'm glad they're talking.

lavenderandwisteria · 12/05/2021 20:38

Oh seriously, as if imran would be able to speak to Kelly’s mum like that!

FromHereToModernity · 12/05/2021 20:41

I know it's not real, but ... would a detective sergeant really handle a murder suspect interview on their own like that?

FromHereToModernity · 12/05/2021 20:44

How's your baby, @lavenderandwisteria? It's my 22 year old I have to fight for the remote control to hear the TV these days Grin

theresnoonequitelikegrandma · 12/05/2021 20:44

Why has nobody mentioned Seb's HIV status when they're talking about blood spatters? Think that would shake the teens up....

Good point!!
lavenderandwisteria · 12/05/2021 20:45

He has zonked out thankfully - think he had to give into the tired!

Why do they shout when they are tired - just go to sleep Grin anyway as we were!

Pebbledashery · 12/05/2021 20:50

So how is Imran allowed to be Kelly's solicitor...

UhtredRagnarson · 12/05/2021 20:51

Oh this is going to be a trial of Corey versus Kelly.

Roussette · 12/05/2021 20:51

Yes, agree, said that on Monday.

lavenderandwisteria · 12/05/2021 20:52

I hope that assault of Nina by Kelly doesn’t get overlooked.

She does bear some responsibility.

Honeyroar · 12/05/2021 20:56

We don’t know that it was all Corey. Kelly was all fired up for the chase and has been constantly asking Corey what to do. She doesn’t come across as someone who just watched.

Pebbledashery · 12/05/2021 20:57

Oh Imran.. Just marry me.

Roussette · 12/05/2021 21:00

I agree, not sure anyone pulled anyone off of Seb. And she was laughing on the voicemail.

lavenderandwisteria · 12/05/2021 21:03

That final scene with toyah and imran was a bit cringey.

Lnix · 12/05/2021 21:05

Aw. Imran. I'm glad Kelly has someone on her side. She's not totally innocent but I don't believe she killed him. Corey on the other hand...

FromHereToModernity · 12/05/2021 21:06

Nina will recover her memory at a critical juncture, surely?

UhtredRagnarson · 12/05/2021 21:19

@Honeyroar

This is what I’m thinking. They’ll have it so we are doubting them both and then there’ll be some sort of flashback or Nina will remember right in time for the end of the trial and will reveal the truth.
UhtredRagnarson · 12/05/2021 21:20

Xpost @FromHereToModernity

Honeyroar · 12/05/2021 21:42

She kept saying “what are we going to do?” to Corey, as though they’re both involved.

eggandonion · 12/05/2021 22:02

I'm not sure of imrans suit, but my daughter thinks she would like him to be her solicitor.

Good point, though as he was being treated his viral load could be low or undetectable meaning he was highly unlikely to infect anyone that way.
