@ShoppingPrecinctPrincess

Would Seb's HIV complicate his recovery? Sad
@ShoppingPrecinctPrincess it shouldn’t do. HIV antiretroviral therapy can be taken intravenously if needed.
CoolShoeshine · 06/05/2021 07:54

I’ve got a bad feeling that it won’t end well for poor Seb, especially as things were so happy for him up until the attack. Would be such a shame if either of them died though as they’re the best gelling couple I’ve seen on Corrie in ages.
Also got a feeling that because Asha and Summer left the gang early the blame will be pointed at them - possibly at Amy too.

lollipoprainbow · 06/05/2021 07:59

I thought a nice touch would have been the red ring that Seb gave to Nina being jn the bag of jewellery that the nurse gave to Roy. It seemed too big for her though If I remember, I think it will be in sebs pocket. I've really taken to Seb I think he's a great actor really believable. I hope he recovers and him and Nina have a double wedding with Kev and abi!

Clawdy · 06/05/2021 08:04

I thought we saw the red ring lying on the ground after the attack?

StillCoughingandLaughing · 06/05/2021 08:19

Yes, we did.

Oh I hope Seb doesn't die. Poor Abi will have then lost all her kids 😥

PrincessScarlett · 06/05/2021 09:06

But Roy can't lose Nina either as she's the only family he's got.

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 09:33

Fingers crossed for miracle recovery, true corrie style.
It was really well done last night, my dh and dd and I have been watching it together and complaining about it's crapness. Dd, who is 25, was devastated, that this could happen to people she knew, not random people on the news.

strugglingwithlife · 06/05/2021 09:43

I didn't see the second episode, not sure if I want to as the ending of the first brought back horrible memories of me and my friend being attacked 21 years ago

Roussette · 06/05/2021 09:47

@strugglingwithlife

I imagine it never leaves you
Flowers

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 09:57

I'd skip it in your circumstances, it's a really horrible experience. I'm sorry this happened to you, I'm sorry some people behave like this.
Its interesting that this group of teenagers, from nice families, with lovely hair are the perpetrators. Not bad kids from the far away sink estate.
Roy and Abi are hurting as badly as Nina and Seb.Sad

PrincessScarlett · 06/05/2021 10:06

I don't think any of them are from nice families are they? Kellie is bring fostered because her mum doesn't care about her (and her dad is a thug) and Corey comes from a wealthy family but after seeing his dad Corey has obviously been brought up with no morals and just uses and abuses people. The rest of the gang we've never seen before.

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 11:18

You're probably right! But they aren't from the rough estate like Gemma and Kylie and people. They don't look like teenagers who I would avoid. Evil is amongst us!
Summer is wearing little girl clothes.

Akire · 06/05/2021 11:39

Even if one of them did it well two if count Nina having been attacked same time. They all be charged with Murder under the law. What is it when one gang member stabs and others do nothing?

I agree no one would expect these kids to be involved with murder if it gets that far. Where of on council estate and getting in trouble since they could walk that’s a different matter.

Joint enterprise? I'm thinking they would be charged with manslaughter, though. Let's hope it doesn't come to that - I'm usually a tough cookie, but last night's episodes really moved me.
strugglingwithlife · 06/05/2021 11:52

Thanks Roussette and eggandonion Flowers

Akire · 06/05/2021 12:13

Yes that’s it Joint enterprise. This isn’t a pushed someone smacked head and died tragic accident. This is repeated kicks to head which never going easily he u only many hurt not kill area. Though I’m sure having Imran as foster dad will help!

UhtredRagnarson · 06/05/2021 12:57

I really hate that they’ve done this to seb and Nina. Just when they were in the first bloom of dating. And seemed so well matched. And how it will affect Roy and Abbie.

UhtredRagnarson · 06/05/2021 12:57

And how it will affect Roy and Abbie if either dies!

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 15:06

That can't happen, I couldn't cope! I'd like this and the drug thing sorted, then a nice few weeks of fluffiness. Maybe the quads could do cute things, or the horse reappear.
It is impressive how some of the actors can actually act!

PrincessScarlett · 06/05/2021 16:15

Yes, joint enterprise. Although in the Sophie Lancaster case only 2 of the group were charged with her murder and 3 others were charged with GBH. I always wonder if there were more involved that got away with it as reports stated there were more people present.

In Corrie, I'm assuming Corey's wealthy dad will try and claim he had nothing to do with it and hire some top lawyer.

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 16:20

Where did it actually happen? There are a lot of CCTV cameras about now.

UhtredRagnarson · 06/05/2021 16:23

Oh god! You’re right. I can see it all now.

eatsleepread · 06/05/2021 16:40

I bet you Nina and Seb get on well in real life. Individually I was never blown away by them as actors. But they bounce off each other really well, and appear so natural together.

eggandonion · 06/05/2021 16:50

There was a case a good few years ago in Ireland where a posh boy didn't get off following an incident outside a nightclub. I hope they can find good evidence, a witness, no alibi etc. And the call to abi, they could pinpoint the baddie mobiles?
