Series to watch with 14yo dd

Can anyone recommend a series I can watch with my 14yo dd? We have very different tastes so it’s proving tricky! She’s watching Stranger Things with her dad, she doesn’t like Friends and we’ve tried Schitts Creak but neither of us could get into it.

Any ideas?

My 14yo dd also likes Stranger Things. We're all watching Taskmaster and Hypothetical together.

Mine my 14 year old would be really embarrassed watching Ginny and Georgia with me- she doesn't like watching any thing juicy and there's loads of sex in it.

She likes watching murder programmes but she's probably a bit more immature than most 14 year olds

I watched Cobra Kai with mine, we also watched all the Karate Kid films so she would know who the characters were (and as a refresher for me).

Gilmore Girls (DD loved it - I gave up as Lorelai really, really annoyed me!! but series 1-3 were great)

DS and DD (aged 14 and 16) love Wandavison - I haven't had time to watch it with them but enjoyed all the Marvel movies with them.

Sherlock, the crown, mine love hustle too, watched them all at least twice!

The problem is I’d love This is us and Gilmore Girls and she’d love Wandavision and What we do in the shadows 🤦🏽‍♀️. Anything remotely sci-fi just bores me to tears and vice versa 😫. I’ll have to grin and bear it I think 😬.

I watched a thing on either Prime or Netflix called Locke and Key with my 14 year old. We really enjoyed it. They are making a second series I think.

Netflix - Scorpion is really good.

The Inbetweeners, Friday Night Dinner and The Flight Attendant have been popular here with me and 14yo.
