Ok, I've started a new one in anticipation of Thread 3 filling up tonight, part way through the episode!

I need to know what happened to the van driver, no one seemed in a rush to see if he was ok! Poor Jonesy though, they don’t call it line of duty for nothing.

So mean not showing the photo, they put us through a slow burn, then ratchet up the adrenaline with a shootout and an OCG murder then can’t even give us a little sweetener to keep us going til next week.

photo defo Jo but there are so many possibilities for her blood relative! The fact she has a Scottish accent surely confuses the Irish connection?
Is there any dead body missing?
Oh I'm so confused... Lindsay Denton? John Corbett? Steph? (another police database) I don't think she is related to Ryan from her reactions to him?

Is the photo Ryan when he was a juvenile? I thought they said that it wasn't DNA from the police officer records but from the criminal records so they would have Ryan's DNA from when he was younger.

I’ve looked that up:
An individual who is convicted of a recordable offence will have a “nominal record” of that conviction placed on the Police National Computer (PNC). Nominal records will also be created for individuals who are cautioned, reprimanded, warned or arrested for such offences.

My first thought was Lindsay Denton!! I tried to pause the tv loads and think the photo was a woman

The photo was of Steph I reckon.

We know that Ryan was groomed as a teenager to be a bent copper.
We know that Dot was groomed as a teenager to be a bent cooper.

Ryan has a criminal record that wasn't picked up.

I wonder if the same is true for Jo and she has a secret past. The police check picked her up as revealed her original name (and criminal record which closed because it occured when she was a minor) and she is the daughter of a known criminal or something.

That might explain why the photo is of Jo. The photo looks like it could be a photo of her but when she was younger.

Just a theory.
