Walter Presents recommendations

I've loved Walter Presents shows in the past but feel like I'm running out of good things . Have tried All the Sins, which is OK but a bit dull; The Border is a bit macho... etc etc.
I loved Thicker Than Water, Stockholm Requiem, mostly loved The Twelve. Also like BBC4 and C4 things like Rebecka Martinsson.

Anyone got any good recommendations?

I just finished watching Torn, which I enjoyed.

Also enjoyed watching the first series of The Swingers, haven't watched the rest of the series yet.

Thank you! Is Torn a bit steamy? I tend to prefer crime, or family drama, to affair/sex things.

Man in Room 301 is a good Finnish drama on BBC iPlayer.

The Deutschland series is brilliant

I watched that, Violet. It was good, yes.

Couldn't get into Deutschland, for some reason, although I liked The Same Sky.

Have you seen The Bridge (Swedish with subtitles) and Der Passe (German with subtitles)? Both brilliant crime, similar theme.

The Bridge, yes (love it). Der Passe, no! I'll look it up.

If there's anything similar, I also like The Passenger and The Crimson Rivers. Oh, and Thou Shalt Not Kill.

Deliver Us (Danish drama) is v good. Quite heavy & tense.

Torn - no not steamy, it's a psychological drama (with crime). The Swingers is a bit of a crime drama as well, I don't remember it being steamy, but I watched that over a year ago.

The Adulterer (Dutch) there are 3 series of this production.

Another vote for the Outlaws. If you can find it. I watched it about 3 or 4 years ago.

I also watched the Other mother, but it wasn't nearly as good.

Not WP but in a very similar vein - The Tunnel 1 and 2.

The Passenger, 13 Commandments , Detective Kain, The Truth will out, Alex and Bordertown ( loved this )

Currently watching Greyzone, just finished The Twelve, loved The Adulterer, and watched Philharmonia a while back. Borgen( courtesy of Mumsnet!) got me into subtitled European dramas. I’ve watched so many at this stage! Weirdly, I can’t watch them with the volume low. I have to have it at the volume I’d watch a programme in English. Strange!

I loved Borgen! It’s coming back, on Netflix.
