Checking in for tonight's episode. So excited.

Might rewatch episode 3 as OH fell asleep during it last week. I'm hoping that Carmichael is interviewing Buckles, but I thought he was a chief superintendent too, so she's isn't one rank senior. Have a feeling that Chloe is going to be more involved tonight as she hasn't been as present in the storylines asI thought she would be, so something must be occuring tonight.

The links to series one with Ryan, Terry and the fridge of doom make me think Andrew Laverty might show up at some point too.

But Craig got confused in the second episode he sad that Jo in conversation with Ryan called Freida a rat. It wasn’t Ryan it was Lomex (who is like Dot)

I liked that he too picked up the issues of small beds

I’m pretty sure that was Ryan? Ryan collected her after her release and asked if she knew about Farida being arrested. Jo said to Ryan “that’s what happens to a rat”

Does anyone else get annoyed by the fact iPlayer doesn’t have a skip forward/back ten seconds option like Netflix 🤬 (not on my phone app anyway) I keep missing bits and having to faff about with the slider. Wasting valuable time I could be spending catching bent coppers 🤬

Took the child to the park and walked her for 4 miles, then into the play park for an hour... determined to wear her out nice and early so it's bath and bed by 7:30, so I can have a bath and get set up on the sofa with my dinner to watch 😂 I'm taking this all very seriously!! Can't wait for tonight's episode.

Ha ha, similar thinking here.. My 4-year-old did junior parkrun this morning followed by an hour in the playground and has been pretty much on the go all afternoon.. Fingers crossed!!

Maybe it's my ongoing Boardwalk Empire binge (S4, 3), or Circle excitement, or missing Unforgotten, but - although I'm enjoying LOD, I'm not counting down the minutes till it's on.

Or maybe the stakes just don't seem so high this season? The core three are already each ensconced in some level of disappointment or disgrace; Jo hasn't done anything that makes me care desperately about her; I'm sorry for Farida - since her broken wrist suggests she's not actually a criminal mastermind (unless that whole thing with the prison officer was a fake for whatever purpose) - but the show isn't primarily about her.

Farida's broken wrist was just prior to her scheduled interview by AC 12, it was a warning not to talk and so she declined to give them anything.

It's the same as happened to Vihaal, Maneet's cousin, last series. In prison he mysteriously 'fell down the stairs' and broke his arm He must've thought we floated up the Lagan in a bubble.

Reckon last week was a "prepped" for tonight.

Just finished rewatching series 4. Sadly I haven’t covered quite as much as grandma’s nightgown.

Wish I could fit s5 in before tonight but I can’t bear to delay seeing the new episode!

I've been less obsessed since I started watching Broadchurch (am a newcomer!) but that can only be a good thing because before that I was pining the whole week

Ooh I could so rewatch broadchurch right now. All great but s2 was my favourite.

I am sure Lindsay Denton was also attacked in prison even by the prison officers. Didn't they pour hot water on her hand?

Yes, she was deliberately scalded in prison.

That was horrible in the prison. And poor Farmer when the cell was messed up in s4 :( awful.

Lindsay was deliberately scalded with boiling water by the guards but they also turned a blind eye to the CCTV while prisoners attacked her in the gym.

We were talking about Michael Farmer's cell and him being tagged as The Beast.
