Corrie and Eastenders missing kids.

Amy in Corrie and Dawn's baby Summer in Eastenders. Where are they? Okay, Amy could potentially be with Liz somewhere or with Ken and Dreary, but Summer? Whenever I see Dawn she's either propping up the bar in the Vic bemoaning the lack of attention from 'Jase' or coming out of Booty having had her hair or something done. Have I missed a couple of storylines re these kids? Where are they?

they always have mysterious baby sitters on tap in soaps - didn't you know?
I remember once seeing someone in Eastenders whose baby was a few days old and she was in the Queen Vic having left poor baby with someone else

stleger · 06/11/2007 14:02

I think Ryan minds Amy a lot for Steve and Michelle. Surely Vernon and Liz haven't taken her to Paris? Did Liz get divorced at any point from Big Jim?

Evenhope · 06/11/2007 14:08

I think you'll find Summer is with Keef, who doesn't move from his chair

It was little Bobby I was always concerned about. He was either at nursery or where? Wish I could find a nursery that opened until 10pm!

MummyPenguin · 06/11/2007 14:08

That will have been Dawn, Tommy. Not sure about Liz's divorce from 'yer man'. I think she did.

God yes Bobby! He's Ian's child with Laura, is that right! Lol - Keef! Had practically forgotten about him! Summer will be safely welded to the skanky armchair with Grandad Keef then!

Amy may be at the Websters upstairs washing her hands - isn't that where Rosie and Sophie spent their formative years?

Tommy · 06/11/2007 14:39

no - mummypenguin - it was a few years ago - it may have been Mark Fowler's wife? I only dip in about once every 3 years to catch up

claraq · 06/11/2007 15:38

Bobby in EastEnders has a mysterious life "upstairs". He obviously plays quietly on his own and only comes downstairs for the once-in-a-bluemoon story line he is involved with.
I was wondering about Summer myself while watching last night's 'Enders.
But there are many mysteries in Walford. Like why does no-one have a washing machine? And why do they all eat fish and chips for tea every night? And how come they can all afford to drink in the pub all day every day (as well as regular trips to Booties) when none of them have jobs - or those that do only have dodgy jobs?

Eddas · 06/11/2007 15:50

I often wonder, because i'm a soap saddo, why if they do get a job outside the square, like Bradders and Max how come they are in the square ALL the time? I mean really do you get that much time off/work near enough to pop home, shag stacey and be off back to work again

MaryAnnSingleton · 06/11/2007 15:55

and why do they have cups of tea in the caff when they all live in the square - have they money to burn ?

Eddas · 06/11/2007 15:59

Jase makes me laugh, no money to buy his kid shoes but enough to buy a beer in the vic. Priorities

claraq · 06/11/2007 16:02

Not just cups of tea in the Caff - most of them seem to have a "Full English" most days as well. What with this and the Fish n Chips I wonder why they are not all obese?

bozza · 06/11/2007 16:09

But Amy wasn't at the park with Steve, Michelle, Ryan and the dog was she? Might be in the process of swapping the actress? Bethany Platt seemed to be looking after herself as well in the run up to the wedding?

hunkermunker · 06/11/2007 16:11

And where is the kitchen where they make the pub grub in the Queen Vic?

mishymoo · 06/11/2007 16:14

I have often wondered that Hunker - same goes for Corrie!? At least in Emmerdale, you always see a fully equipped kitchen!

ChasingSquirrels · 06/11/2007 16:14

tracy in corrie was upstairs playing from about 4y - 15y, no wonder she is evil!

Eddas · 06/11/2007 16:15

with the bedrooms to house all the people staying there, i think the vic is a bit like the tents in harry Potter (apologies if you haven't seen HP)

harman · 06/11/2007 16:15

Eddas · 06/11/2007 16:16

have you not seen Betty/Liz/Michelle/Violet popping through the back room in corrie to get the hotpot

claraquitebignow · 06/11/2007 16:18

Eddas - what about Pat Butchers house? I think she had about 35 people living there at one point. And still room for a tacky cocktail bar in the front room!

witchandchips · 06/11/2007 16:18

other EE mysteries
they all get a black cab to the airport even though walfords obviously on the picadilly line
charlie's big mos son in law even though he is the same age
why on earth do carly and dawn spend so much time together whan they obviously can't stand each other?

Eddas · 06/11/2007 16:19

ah clara, she must have a tent like house too had fogotten about her having everyone living there! from the outside you'd think they all lived in a two up/two down

anorak · 06/11/2007 16:22

I reckon the people from Corrie look after the Eastenders babies and vice versa. Then they can nearly always be available on soap night

preggersagain · 06/11/2007 16:25

martin fowler went upstairs at the age of 9 and came down fully grown and needing a shave 3 episodes later

often wondered why no-one has a washing machine in walford, also in emmerdale do they buy everything from viv's shop (if so she should be a squillionaire by now ) or is there an out of town supermarket open 24 hours that they sneak off to in the middle of the night

kimi · 06/11/2007 16:29

Often wondered where you got one of these fashion accessory children from, the ones that never cry, never poop, chuck up keep you up all night need to be taken to school, have party's or need any attention and never stop you going out or need a sitter.
