Corrie and Eastenders missing kids.

Amy in Corrie and Dawn's baby Summer in Eastenders. Where are they? Okay, Amy could potentially be with Liz somewhere or with Ken and Dreary, but Summer? Whenever I see Dawn she's either propping up the bar in the Vic bemoaning the lack of attention from 'Jase' or coming out of Booty having had her hair or something done. Have I missed a couple of storylines re these kids? Where are they?

LOL at Charlie being Mo's Son In Law although they're seemingly the same age! It's the 'quickest pregnancies on record' in soapland that make me laugh. So unrealistic! Apparently Tanya is 8 months gone now

Despite years of ttc in soapland - a one night stand results in a baby!

Tanya is 8 months, yet Honey who was pg within 3 months of having Janet is still pregnant, and Janet's birthday was weeks ago.

They have been deliberately vague about Tanya's pregnancy - one minute it was "two months to go" now it's "one month to go" - if so she is at the same stage as me and my bump is about three times the size of hers! But I reckon they are setting her up for a birth on Christmas day story line (the 2nd coming?)

I might have imagined it, but is'nt Tanya pregnant in rl?

And Bethany, sarahs dd in corrie is played by identical twins.

In Eastenders last night Bobby was only seen with a mask on. Maybe it was not the real Bobby and was a stunt double...........

The best 'Tardis' house is Ken and Deirdre's in Corrie. At one point they had Ken, Deirdre, Blanche, Tracy, Amy, Adam and Peter staying there - in what can't be more than a two bedroomed terrace!

You can see denise's bump. she's wearing floaty numbers atm. Guess they couldn't make her pg in the soap. Guess her and Kev will have a break up/leave soon, she's looking fairly big!

Back to Bobby for a mo - someone earlier in the thread said that he's Mark Fowler's wife's child? And he's being brought up by Ian (God help him) what was his Mother's (Mark Fowler's wife) name? Who is his natural Dad? Am very confused by Bobby. He is a bit of an oddity isn't he?

Bobby was Laura's son, who was Ian's nanny, but became his wife. She had a fling with gary and because Ian had had the snip, he knew it wasn't his baby, but it turned out that he was Ians

Bobby is Ian's & Laura's child. Was thought to be Gary Hobb's child, as Ian had the snip without telling Laura. But is deff Ian's.

Lisa (Mark's wife) had a girl who was really Phil Mitchel's.

Ah yes. I thought Bobby being something to do with Mark Fowler's wife didn't sound right.

Do you know what, I was thinking just the same the other day. How Dawn can just saunter round the square without her LO. Where is Summer? And yes Amy, is she going the same way as her mum. Staying upstairs until she's 20something?

It's crazy isn't it? One minute they are bemoaning who is going to look after Amy every two minutes the next she vanishes and will probably re-emerge from her bedroom at 18.

Actually on the subject of Amy in Corrie when you think about it, how many of her nearest and dearest have served time?

Dreary, Steve, Tracey, Grandad Jim McDonald, Ken was in trouble with the cops for hitting some leary pupil once...not to mention living in a street with a murder in every other house!

re the Slater Sisters not attending Stacey's wedding - trouble is, ideally they'd have to get the original actresses to come back for the wedding scenes i.e. Jessie Wallace, Michelle Ryan etc. and I guess they're busy with other projects or don't want to come back. To use other actresses to play their parts wouldn't be the same. The scriptwriters don't explain away the Sister's absences though, do they? But then again, what could they say - all the Slater Sisters haven't bothered with a family wedding?!

I remember Corrie from when I was a kid, Tracey was always upstairs listening to her tapes (usually so Ken and Dierdre could have a row!)

Is Dawn not an unemployed single mother? how can she afford to get her hair done, drink in a pub 3 times a week and still eat and feed a child?

but i guess these little details just get in the way of a the gritty reality of soaps
