Bloodlands question SPOILER ALERT

I fell asleep at the end of last night’s episode only to wake up and see the James Nesbit character shooting the old guy with the breathing apparatus.

Speaking to my Dad today, he (Dad) thinks that James Nesbit is Goliath!

Wtaf? Is my Dad right? I only ask because he usually is and I find keeping up with a lot of crime series quite challenging!

That thought crossed my mind but, if he is, he's been lying to everybody including himself as his interior monologue (such as it is) gives nothing away.

I suppose his avowed determination to find Goliath could be a way of finding and bumping off anybody else involved but it's a rubbish plot. His boss and the hospital consultant both seem shifty as hell, though.

I did wonder if the fact that there are TWO H&W cranes might be a suggestion that there's also a Samson at large, as well as a Goliath.
